Re: Reading FC Womens World

Typical women wait for the men to build the foundations (over 100 years) and then move in and demand that we give them their own teams. Start your own teams and make them good enough to be undeniable Whilst an obvious wind up, the mens game was actually responsible for destroying the Women's game. ...

Re: Rival Watch

linkenholtroyal QPR maybe a bit more of a problem now they have just signed Hemed on loan and apparently Wells is not far behind. I would have taken either of them on loan for us. that is a top champ strike force just in those 2.

Maybe but a lot of their issues are the 8 players playing behind the strikers.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by 3 league wins in 2018

Anyone think (as much as results) that PC loyalty to players may cost him his job? Think it is evident that Illori and Moore should be given the chance to form a partnership and can be argued Mannonne needs to be dropped too, over 4 games it has been mistakes costing us rather than being outplayed!...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by 3 league wins in 2018

Well, that was fun. First half, I thought we put in a pretty decent away performance. Kept Blackburn quiet and picked off the chances that came. You really can't ask for much more. 2nd half - almost lost for words. The first pen, looked awful at the time and watching it back now, I mean wow. He was ...

I think you pay a tenner. Which begs the question why would you pay 20 quid to watch it live when you can pay a tenner to watch it in your front room? No it oxf*rd doesn’t. And people wonder why our support is so shite. Haha "Why would someone want to have a day/evening out with their friends,...

Re: Rival Watch

I didn't realise how poorly Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday have started  There a lot of very below average to frankly crap teams in this division, which is why I am not too concerned at this point. If we can pick up a win or two quickly we could be up in midtable before you know it but also...

Re: BFTG - Bolton

Surely that is what the signing of Sims is trying to counter, give us 2 (with Barrow) wide attacking outlets which should stop us being as flat, spread the game and create more space for players in the middle - should stop teams being able to sit as compactly as Bolton did post goal on Saturday.

Re: Josh Sims - Confirmed?

It really says something about my club when people are getting enthusiastic at the prospect of a Southampton reserve joining us on loan. Just fold now  Given Soton fans seem genuinely pissed off that he has come on loan instead of being in their first team, I can understand and embrace the ent...

Re: Josh Sims - Confirmed?

Aluko is a weird player and a very weird signing Cannot see how he fits into PCs team at all. Be a proper case of a fudge if we get him into the first 11 Imagine it will be 4-4-2 with Barrow and Sims on the wings, with Bod and Baldock up front, backed up with McNulty and Meite Popa, McCleary, Harri...

Can only assume this is the surprise loan that PC referred to recently.

Saints fans seemed pretty pissed that he has gone on loan.

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

German season kicked off with the 1st round of the cup this weekend.

Biggest shock - non-league SSV Ulm 1846 do a Sutton United and knock out cup holders Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1.

3rd Division Hansa Rostock also progress beating Stuttgart.

Re: Clement OUT!!!!

The players need a rocket not mollycoddling. Different players probably need different ways of being treated tbh.... I'm sure they do but the underperformance of the team has been consistant for over a season now, so much so, it has become just the expected level of performance. I think a lot of us...

Re: The Non - League thread

Saw Maidenhead and Hungerford both lost again this weekend, I fear for them both :| Inertia taking hold and dragging them down to a more natural level I think. Maidenhead have done an incredible job to get the National League but as they, rightly, haven't gone full time, it was only ever going to b...

The Chronicle guys on Twitter teasing a "very interesting development" about Liam Moore being in the paper on Thursday.

Would imagine if it is anything of any real note, it will appear somewhere else before then.
