Re: PL Relegation

Three of the four Ws will go. I reckon the one to survive might well be Wolves, much as it pains me to say it. I just think McCarthy has got enough nous to keep them up.

Re: City a MASSIVE draw in Manchester

To be fair, they did say 45k, but there were definitely less than that there. I would say about 38k at most. Tickets sold, not the number in attendance. I thought it was automatically done via the turnstiles though? Thought it was Premier League rules that state 'attendances' have to be done as tic...

Re: World Club Cup

Always thought this was a bit of joke competition, but currently taking place in Abu Dhabi. Mazembe Englebert cause from Congo a massive upset beating Brazil's Internacional 2-0 to reach the final. I was kind of looking forward to an Internacional v Internazionale final. Did you translate that usin...

First one demonstrates why you should always preview picture posts before putting them up.

(Unless you really think a list of voters in the last UK GE split by demographics is funny I guess...)

Their manager is a fat arrogant crook, their assistant is a fat arrogant to$$er and they are spending tons and tons of money at that level which their club could never actually generate. They will be bankrupt and eithe rlike weymouth bottom of the southern league or just plain out of business. They...

Tony Le Mesmer this is a stich up. Every World Cup we get ripped off by cheats, etc, and now we've been done up 8 years before a balls been kicked

That's OK, we'll just do our best not to qualify for that tournament. That'll show 'em.

Elmer Park Ferguson needs to look at his second string defenders. Evans is not good enough

The way Cole turned around Evans for his second(?) goal was just amazing. It was like Evans wasn't there - not what you'd expect even from a second-string defender at a club like Man Utd.

Re: Football Arrests Decrease by 10%

Also, comparing the SA World Cup to the Dutch/Belgian Euro 2000 is a bit disingenuous, given that one was a hell of a lot easier to get to and wasn't held during straitened economic times. Is it any wonder that casual hoolies didn't make it out to SAfrica, but could easily hop on the EuroStar to get...

Yes, I was trying to simplify the maths TBF.

And like I said, I don't necessarily agree with the argument*, just thought I could explain where I thought it was coming from.

* - Actually, I doubt it would work out like that at all.
