Re: New kits 2012/2013

Wigan regularly change their designs. Plain, thin stripes, thinner stripes, thick stripes etc. The new kit looks really good.

Have they gone with stripes on the back or plain?

Re: Non - League thread 2011/12

The Martyn Booty that left the Hyde United management team earlier this week following their promotion to the Conference.... is that the same Tutti Frutti Martyn Booty that played for us in the mid 90's?

Re: Non - League thread 2011/12

How can a club as high up the pyramid as CCL premier turn up with so few? Sure Banstead will be highly embarrassed - just looking at the website they lost their last 7 consecutive matches although one of that 7 was an extra time cup defeat. Also looks like they have been up against it this season wi...

Re: Non - League thread 2011/12

Maidenhead must win both their last two games however they have Dover away on Saturday who thumped them 4-0 in a match I and other HNA regulars attended earlier in the season. I reckon Maidenhead will be relegated on Saturday. By the way a question for FoCcers or any other NL expert - Will Maidenhea...

Hopefully we'll have a more traditional kit (hoops all round) when we return to the premiership!

Star should refuse to distribute them.

However they are a weak organisation so they won't.

Re: Bogey Teams

We always seemed to draw 0-0 or lose 1-0 to Walsall - be interesting to see out of the stats above the percentage of 0-0 from the draws and 0-1 from defeats.

Aside from Portsmouth, Bury and Walsall something sticks in my mind that Fulham are another of our bogey teams.

Re: Non - League thread 2011/12

A must win game for Maidenhead today at Staines in the relegation six pointer. If the game ends in defeat for the Stripes I reckon they'll end up relegated at the end of the season.

Re: Report the ref/Leeds?

I'm still fuming after yesterday. Is there anything that we as fans can do to complain about the referee/Leeds' dirty tactics? It was a throwback to the early days for me. Those kind of tactics just don't happen anymore. I don't normally get livid by a football game but that was deeply unpleasant. ...

Re: Your first ever away win

Leyton Orient 1-2 Reading 92/93 (?) Orient had been on a really long unbeaten home record and our away from was patchy at best. Old away terrace at Brisbane Road, rusty old turnstiles that barely worked, ropey old burgers and tea and 90 minutes wondering what piece of equipment it was on top of the ...

They're not hoops unless they go all the way round.

Sort it out Reading and get hoops all the way round, white shorts and white socks.

Re: Players not celebrating against former clubs

Should be a return to the old days! Fans used boo an old player (unless he's was an ex favourite), old player scores against his old club then cups ears in front of opposing supporters when celebrating a goal.... Cureton is one example. Others players celebrating running along the touchline arms alo...

YateleyRoyal I'm sure Sonko did it more than once in his time....

I recall it from him once out over the south stand roof.

Someone has done it before and I'm certain it was Sonko if not him then it was either Duberry or Bikey.

Re: Non - League thread 2011/12

Binfield were 3-0 down at h/t apparently so the 7-1 scoreline doesn't much of a surprise.

169 at Scours Lane? The counter on the turnstile must have stopped!!
