Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

So 12 games in, league-wise, we are 14th in the form table. Over shorter spreads we are also comfortably mid-table.

Much improved from the low base he took over.

Re: The League of 4

leon Millwall and Wigan were safe a month ago. Not any more.

Yep, easier to be pulled into something than fight your way out.

Next week could be pivotal, if Derby stop derbying their season up and beat Wigan then us v them and Bolton v Millwall could really shift things around.

How has he managed to be involved in 2 of our games since the Mings incident? I can only assume in this...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (a) sponsored by Noel Hunt

This match has draw written all over it. A game that both teams need to win and neither can really afford to lose played by 2 teams who have forgotten how to win.

Re: We are as good as down!

Despite Ian being obnoxious, I have to say I agree with him. The only reason we did not go down last season is because somehow there were 5 shitter teams. Always find this a strange line as that is literally how league tables work. You never say, we only finished 1st because there were somehow 23 s...

Re: We are as good as down!

Always the hope that another team would get dragged into the mire. Quality of bottom 6 teams is the worst in some years. All no better than top half league one teams. Really? Compared to Sunderland Barnsley, Burton, Reading, Bolton and Birmingham? Id say we're closer to the bottom this season becau...

Re: January Outs

6 in 4 for McNulty at Hibs Obvs I’m aware it’s the SPL etc, but think he is worth another go if we go down If we go down sure. 1 goal last night was a pen (wish he was that deadly for us v Leeds) but the second was good finish. Yep at a level down, absolutely have him starting. If we stay up, Gomes...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (a) sponsored by Noel Hunt

Sutekh Ipswich also sweating on the fitness of Hull loanee striker Will Keane after he picked up a hamstring problem at Wigan.

Ipswich struggling to have any fit striker at all with Sears out as well. Probably stick a CB up top and he'll score a hat-trick.

Whore Jackie Interesting read on David Hockaday's 70 days as Leeds manager under Cellino.

Fair play to the bloke and good to see he has gone to do something he is clearly passionate about.

Re: We are as good as down!

Gap opening between the bottom clubs and those above now. Following tonights results. Massive 6 points coming up. Millwall lost, it`s only about the bottom 6 realistically. and has been for some time. Yep - by the end of the Wigan game on the 9th the bottom 6 could be tightly bunched. Likely table,...

Re: Rival Watch

QPR beating Leeds. Leeds on pretty poor form at the moment Lost 6 of the last 11 games, pretty awful. Funny what happens when you're forced to stop spying on other teams. Big game against West Brom on Friday. I think it was stranded that called out at the start of the season that Bielsas team run o...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Wow, strange timing for him to leave. Stay til the summer, win the league and cup and ride off into the sunset. Why, he's already won everything multiple times up there and no idea when another PL job will come up so completely get why he'd jump now. Just seems like a situation where all parties in...

Brendan Rodgers has left Celtic this morning and should be announced as Leicester manager fairly quickly. Neil Lennon to take over, at least temporarily, at Celtic. CB and CM are two completely different positions. Obviously, if you think it's "barely a position change" you clearly don't understand football very much. They are different positions, and not sure if Blackett could do it, but quite a few pro's have. Bryan Robson, Roy Keane, Desailly, Mas...
