Re: Songs for Saturday

I have a festive ditty...... Clarke, the Mad Stad faithful sing, You've a job here at Reading. Spend our cash on what you need, Get a call from old Shahid. Up the M4, off you go, Turn around, "Need much more dough!" We can see through all of it, You really couldn't give a sh1t Clarke, the ...

Re: Royal Elm Park

Park and ride is clearly the way forward for us out of towners. Living over an hour away it is currently lovely to get there early enough to park at the stadium with the family, but this is a luxury really. It wouldn't make a huge difference to my life to park the other side of the M4 and get a park...

Maybe we could be sponsored by British Association of Dermatologists.

Then it could be the BAD MAD STAD.

Re: Reading's best ever left-back?

I'm going to throw classy Centre back Dariusz Wdowczck out there. Why do I remember him at left-back? Can I blame it on youth? Not really. Must be stupidity, but I my brain definitely remembers him scooping things up down the left flank. Oh well. Ok. I'm not going completely bonkers. Some other Wik...

Re: Reading's best ever left-back?

I'm going to throw Dariusz Wdowczck out there. Probably wasn't the greatest, but he did a decent job as far as I can remember. On a side bar... what is the science behind left backs being such good free kick takers.? Harte, Shorey, Bridge I think I've seen take a few, now Obita... Beyond us over the...

Re: BFTG - Leeds

Left early & walked past the Royals Family Area. At this point I started to slit my wrists. WTF has happened to this club?! CBA to give ratings. It was a shit game between two sh1t sides that will be nowhere near promotion. I can take much of what you say as "Spoilt-brat-upset-cos-someone-...

Gordons Cumming Has anyone told Paulo it gets cold and wet over here in England?

Not sure he'll perform on a cold, wet night in Burnley.

I find it difficult to perform on a cold wet night in Burnley too. Just ask the wife.

Open Day

Just thought it was worth mentioning that the Open Day was great today. Nice bunch of people there, sunny day, good to see some new faces on the pitch. Long queues for autographs, but not unexpected. Bit of a while to wait from end of training to signings. Not quite sure why they couldn't expect vir...

Re: the royal roar

I think we should all take up orchestral instruments. A 15000 strong orchestra could be the way forward. You may need 2 seats to spread legs wide enough for a cello though and the stewards would go bonkers with the double bass players who need to stand up to play. We'll therefore need a double bass ...

No Fixed Abode
tbf - the t-shirts were awful quality.

But at least the poor quality allowed an element of stretch for those of us with extra girth! I managed to fit mine over a fleecy hoody despite my Huddersfield mascot tendencies. Great planning.

Re: BFTG - Arsenal

- Yesterday illustrated how much the club has grown in the last 20 years. In 1995 when "little old Reading" got to the play off final it felt like we had 10000 there who cared and 30000 on a nice day out in London. Yesterday we had 30000 who were totally invested in it. Agree with this to...

Re: Hoops round Wembley

Am I being a bit of a thicky? What about club wembley seats? Won't there be a multicoloured, red dominated hoop in the middle of the upper and lower tiers? It's only the reading tickets that get one not the neutral club wembley ones So. As I said. The club wembley seats, between the top 2 hoops and...
