Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

can we have a half-time review of Sunzu please??? Sounds like a bit of a lad from what I have read so far I'd say he's a cross between the legendary Jimmy Kebe and Andre Bikey, based on these 45 minutes he's unpredictable and a bit mental. Obviously not short of confidence, defensively it's a bit d...

Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

Royalwaster
Pepe the Horseman Sunzu was lining up a gr8 tackle, but his m8 lunged in and gave away a pen. Which Sunzu saved.

I Sunzu playing in goal too? He saved the pen!?

He's Stopilla Sunzu, he does what he wants! Will Jimmy cope with the competition?

Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

Goalie's reaction was excellent - ended up being stretchered off looking as if he was paralyzed from the nose down.

Although the challenge wasn't that different to Lonergan's on Kitson several years ago when we didn't even get a free kick.

Re: Portsmouth fc

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21121539 Staff at beleaguered Portsmouth have been told they face a further pay cut as the club looks to stave off liquidation. The club are £61m in debt and have been in administration since 17 February. In 2012, administrators PKF made around 40 staff redundan...

Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

Ideal
akranes Was that Sunzu's fault, or was he the one running back into the goal?

Sunzu mistiming the trajectory of the ball, his fault. Almost caused a goal, only for the inept finishing to save him!

Rubbish. The pitch did for both the defender and the attacker.

scumbag The foul was reminiscent of Olsson's cutting down of Kebe last week at the Madejski.

Or Boris Johnson at the Madejski

Can only hope this triggers a massive slump aiding our fight for survival.

Silver Fox Even worse than Chelsea sacking Di Matteo

And even more puzzling really. Why wait until they have had a string of decent/good results, are playing well and don't really look like relegation candidates at the moment.

Re: RFC greatest loan XI

Best loan player in my child hood was definitely Paul Cannoville, can we have him on the wing? Was he a loanee? Thought we bought him straight off. He wasn't a loan. He only played a dozen or so games (maybe less?) cos he got seriously injured just as he was starting to look great. Enjoyed his book...

Re: RFC flops XI

The thing about Steve Moran was that he cost a lot of money, was known nationally (we only ever used to buy unknowns up to then), came from a successful club, expectation was huge and he was average at best (until he became fatter, slower, and injury prone)

A let down if ever there was one.

^^^^Remember that season and game, although didn't attend that night. Used to get the same insults back then for not liking Earles..I still don't. Just because he was local and scored a few in the crap leagues didn't make up for being a lightweight. He was from Totton wasn't he? He played in a crap...

Re: RFC flops XI

royalZILLAAA Luke Chadwick's got to be in this team!
On that note, can we do a RFC Most Grotesque XI?

Chadwick was excellent in his first loan spell.
