Re: Rumour - Kaspars Gorkss

If we do sign him, I will henceforth call him Kaspars Norks.

That is all.

Carry on.

Re: Half Time "entertainment"

AthleticoSpizz Would have been gutbusting had I won the Pizza thing yesterday

I had a whole N Stand row to my lad and myself

Missed out by one bollocking row. Family in front of me helped themselves to 2 boxes and hung on to every slice not noticing me salivating down their backs.

Re: Only 5 substitutes allowed next season.......

The multi ball system did piss me off on occassions when a second ball found its way onto the pitch when another was in play through a ball just bouncing back from the stands, a ball boy not catching one thrown from the stands, opposition fans deliberately holding onto the ball then waiting for the ...

Does this means that one of our wingers is on his way then? We do, in theory at least, currently have back-ups for each of our wingers.

Re: The Summer clearout / Coming in thread. Updated 13/6

Although this is a somewhat tired and repetitive deb8, I am enjoying Extended-Phenotype's contribution to it. Far more interesting than the usual FineRain level of argument on the topic - even if I don't agree with it. And far better written and much more amusing posts than the stat-infested drivel ...

Re: 2011/2012 Fixtures

Me, I'm delighted with a mid-week away game at Brizzle - and before my contract ends, too. Shame Cardiff away isn't an evening game before the end of October as well but can't have everything.

Re: Goodbye to Ivar

Really sorry he's going - I'd always hoped he be kept on for some sort of role at the club, if only for sentimental reasons.

A rock of the best Reading side there's ever been.

Re: Next Season's Fixtures - June 17th

For purely selfish reasons, I'd like some mid-week away action at Bristol and Cardiff - but I guess this wouldn't be popular with most folk.

Next Season's Fixtures - June 17th

It's only a couple of weeks until next season's fixtures are published and now we know we're stuck here for another season, any particular hopes for which team to play on the opening day? Personally, I'm not too bothered who we have, but first game at home on the first day is always pretty special.

Re: Blatter under investigation

FiNeRaIn International football is crap anyway, we need to boycott fifa. Withdraw out of it. Enough is enough.

I liked a comment I saw on the Beeb's web site:
"England should follow Scotland's lead and never play in the World Cup again"

Re: The Repercussions

FWIW my opinion is that Jobi is by far the more coveted of our wingers amongst other clubs, as witnessed by QPR's bid last summer. I doubt that Jimmy will move to another British club unless it's silly money or there's a good friend if his already there. Far more likely for him to move to a French c...

More likely someone's rewired Kes. Although this is low even by his standards.

2/1 Kes
9/4 Aggers
7/2 Big Foot
10/1 Thames

Any more???
