Re: Why wont the club tell us the truth?

Running through all this is an implicit suggestion that the club making some vague noises about having ambition and wanting to sign players was the sole motivating factor in supporters renewing their season tickets. It's at best disingenuous and at worse being downright disrespectful to our STH. The...

Re: Sheep Sacrificing at Madejski

Is the matter now closed as far as you're concerned Stuka?

Have you any legitimate avenues of appeal? Or perhaps other clubs you can ask?

Re: Derby Away

Further to UWG's advice, check megatrain.com

I got a return from London for £12. Those heading from Reading may be able to change onto the East Midlands Line part way then buy a seperate megatrain for the rest (or just go via London)

Barry the bird boggler Is this as the crow flies or strictly following the laws of the road?

If you're happy to yomp across country / swim across rivers / climb over buildings / trespass across peoples gardens etc then I'll allow as the crow flies, otherwise you'll have to stick to footpaths like the rest of us.

Yep my three and a bit years in West London came to an end a couple of months ago. SE10 is now where I call home. Oh yes. I remember that conversation now. TBF it's v...

Re: How long would it take you to walk to a home match?

Oddly I was recently thinking of doing this some time - I was reckoning on 2 days with an overnight stop somewhere on the canal. Far cry from Elm Park days when I could run home in time for the results on the radio. Funnily enough Fox I was thinking similar. Or perhaps cycling it. But then I don't ...

How long would it take you to walk to a home match?

Interested to see how close to the ground fellow loyal royals live. (TIP: If unsure and it's a long way, put it into google maps and select "walking" :) )

15 hours 49 minutes for me. Not a journey I'd ever attempt on foot LOL.

Angus has now moved on to Salisbury City.

On behalf of "The Team" board I'd like to wish him the very best of success down at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium. Smashing little club TBF.

Re: Derby Away

Been to loads of times already so am OUT, thanks. Any suggestions for pubs, BFers :?: Whenever I've been it's been a car trip, typically done due to ex-ex-ex Mrs BF's family hailing from that way. Iirc there's a pub near the station called The Waterfall or sth similar which had a good selection of ...
