Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

The stewards have no say in this. How does he propose the game finishes with people on the pitch? He told me that they all had a briefing before the game from the police. and have been told there will be no abandonment. The police are aware of the Twitter chat and have prepared accordingly. it’s no...

Re: Away followings

Looked on Transfer Mkt yesterday - we have 5th highest home average 5th highest capacity and 17th in terms of percentage full. Half the grounds in League 1 cannot accommodate our current home average We are a big club in L1 Just wait and see how big we are in L2 and National Leagues. We'd be the la...

Re: Oxford (A)

As long as you don't wear any colours, that lends itself nicely to an afternoon having a couple of nice pints in one of Oxford's many lovely pubs. Oxford is a total shithole. I'll drink in Reading before trudging up there on the train, fcuk their shitty pubs and boring city. Bad experience, Royal_j...

Re: Green park station/south Reading station

Can you/would you drive, Clyde?

Your commitment to public transport is laudable but sounds like a PITA - especially for the lower attendance games you reference.

Re: LIncoln City (A)

RG30 Minor gripe but why couldn't the TO put both Eastleigh and Lincoln tickets on sale the same day? The booking fees stack up amongst multiple transactions.

Probably the exact reason they don't.

PieEater Friday night - out

slight twitch at that - checked the last trains, so I think all good.

Had a really nice long weekend away in Cheltenham this summer. Lido swims every morning, bit of steam tren action. Lovely stuff.

Was there for the jazz festival last year. Nice.

Re: Cheltenham (A)

Wycombe Royal 5 miles away from where I live, so no excuse for me not to attend. I've been living over here for 4 months now and I've still not seen a single person wearing a Cheltenham shirt, scarf or anything else in club colours.

Well replica kits are quite tacky. Can see it not being a Cheltenham thing.

LOL! I looked at it a couple of times when there's been a decent game there, but gave up trying to figure out how to get there, except by driving. No beer, no fun. I live in Winchester these days. Reading fan by birth, but live in Winchester now and oxf*rd me, it's far more fun watching Non League. ...

WestYorksRoyal They had 2 bids rejected before this one. I wonder who moved more for the valuation to meet. I suspect Dai started to smell the coffee.

That's just how negotiations work isn't it. TBF he'd be mad to take the first offer.

Re: The Mental Health Thread

Very wary of anyone who uses a public forum or social media to advertise their mental health issues. If you are that comfortable to speak about it then use professionals for help rather than random mongs. I think there are a lot of people out there who post publicly about their struggles on social ...

Re: Eastleigh away - FA Cup round two

Allocation of 800 confirmed and the usual complaints about Royalty Points already starting. What are people complaining about? It's hard to see how anyone can argue against those who have been following the club the most in the last few seasons having the right to go. Saw a comment from one hapless...

Re: Eastleigh (A)

S And you need to get a rail replacement bus from Winchester to Southampton Parkway or Eastleigh. On Google Maps it looks like it should be an easy, short walk from Airport Parkway to the ground. It isn't. Busy roads to cross, no pavements and no access from the east side of the stadium, unless you...
