Re: CheLOLsea

Chelsea, like most pl teams I imagine, stop in a hotel before home games as well as away ones - theirs is across the road from my flat.

So a 2,500 quid fine for not making it downstairs to the coach on time is pretty reasonable I'd say

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Had a quick look at their forums and I don't know what's worse - those calling him a club legend when they've done nothing but piss and moan for years about his style of football whilst he kept them in the championship against all odds or those calling him a traitor and an opportunist :| Football fa...

Re: The Local Journo Thread

Jonathan Low getting some serious stick on Twitter, notably from Yakou Meite. Labelled the racist comments as "alleged". It's a silly outrage deflecting from the seriousness of the actual issue. Journalists are taught to tweet "alleged" from a legal perspective. Total horseshit ...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

So there we go, we have some kits and the home one is blue and white. I look forward to everyone complaining again next summer when the kit is released at exactly the same time as it is every year and it will be blue and white again but not quite blue and white enough and maybe with a funny sleeve....

Re: Gay Championship player about to go public....

I heard somebody say the other day that the under 40s (sweeping generalisation) love to be offended on behalf of others-there seems to be is some perverse pleasure derived from being offended. Such is the case with some suspects on here. https://media.makeameme.org/created/gammon-alert.jpg

Re: Gay Championship player about to go public....

Shame the guy couldn't come out. However, I have been getting irked about the issue with gays in footy as the conversation is always about the fans. I think the fans, by and large, will be the least fussed (though will still give him crap when he puts in a bad tackle ). The other footballers though...

Re: Gay Championship player about to go public....

Old Man Andrews Real shame he wasn't able to go through with it, would have been great if he still came out in the face of the abuse. Would have sent a strong message.

Agreed, this news is a real bummer

He's won everything worth winning and now has the chance to set his grandkids grandkids up for life. Not a single pfucker here would do any different. Good luck to him. Has reportedly earned more than £100M in his career so far. I think many generations of his family are already well set up. I thin...
