Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

Stam once banned McLeary from the dressing room at an away game.... Wasn't that because he got sent off for something stupid, and Stam didn't want to look at him if they'd lost? Seem to remember he hung around the car park apologising to the away fans. It's not exactly Joey Barton territory. Anyway...

Re: Gunter, GMac and 'the Reading way'?

love em both to bits but theres no way we can continue to pay them 20+k per week to not play, so they need to be shifted on by whatever means necessary. its not a charity, and for the club there can be no real room for sentiment. that said, any fans dishing out stick to them on twitter are grade A ...

maffff Yes.

Watching you get rinsed on Twitter last night was quite entertaining I must say

:D Now the wannabe's retweeting even more to support his own argument to gain further notoriety, 90% of the account is just retweets though. Would get more respect if there was a name and face on it.

Re: BFTG (H) Brizzle

If I was Popa I'd be pretty pissed off that McCleary is getting game time ahead of me. he was awful yesterday when he came on. Popa must be injured after international games. He's been outstanding this year and warrants a spot in the squad minimum. I heard the same re popa. People will make assumpt...

Re: BFTG - Birmingham City

The Times has Moore as its Championship Player of the Week, and also has both him and Gunter in the Championship team of the week Gunter??? That completely overrated waste of space who only knows how to go backwards, can't defend and is usually the only reason we concede? Clearly The Times ...

Re: Injury watch 2017-18 season

McCleary is shagged. Dont think he'll manage an extended stint for us again. McCleary has had an op over the summer and has had no preseason whatsoever so it's hardly surprising he's not quite consristently "with it" as yet. That's what biff hopes. Had two ops in fact and had done nought ...

Re: BFTG Millwall

Just reading elsewhere that someone thought this a boring game. I really enjoyed it. There were plenty of very good performances, a few moments of brilliance, some moves that were a joy to watch. Bacuna is classy and should soon establish himself as a starter in midfield. Apart from one moment, he ...

Re: Team for Huddersfield

You could play 3-5-2 with Gunter and Obita much further forward than against Fulham. I don't think Obita will be fit. The club are just keeping quiet to keep Huddersfield guessing and uncertain. If not, Id consider McCleary at RWB, Gunter at LWB. McCleary did a decent job there once he got into the...

Re: Who do we want, then?

Huddersfield's passing and movement is very good. If we face them they are going to be very dangerous. I think both Wednesday and Huddersfield are a lot better than Fulham. Our chance of winning the final is no more than 50/50. These teams are good. Disagree, Fulham are far better. Little attacking...

It's beautifully set up for Tuesday night now. No team have the advantage . Fulham are rightly considered the favourites. The Fulham Football Club is an outstanding club and are expected to win otherwise they will have badly let down the residents of West London. Considering they are one of the big...

Re: BFTG - Forest

Blimey, can't you read? You produced some figures regarding the captaincy-I didn't say anything about the captaincy. My point was that he is a constant and the most constant figure in our poor defence away from home-whether or not he has been captain is irrelevant, we still have a poor defence away...

Re: BFTG - Forest

As for Stam, a top defender and yet , for whatever reason, cannot get his team to defend as successfully as they do at home. Presumably tactics do come into it as the defenders are the same players. I think it revolves around the ever-present Gunter in that he has played every game, home and away, ...

Gordons Cumming It was interesting to see Garath Mcleary join us all in the stands. Very brave of him.

Did he buy the half time beers though??

Don't think he moved from his seat. Too scared probably.

Fair enough. It dinarf look like a head butt from where I was sitting!! Very much agree with you HR and Williams does have history. The daft thing was that the kick( for which their player was booked) rather than giving Danny a broken leg ,which he would have us believe, actually served to spur him...

Re: BFTG - Rov'rum

Not been to a whole lot of games this season but I enjoyed yesterday. Very flat first half but much more dynamic after HT and deserved the win. - Meite isn't very good - I like Swift as a player but he had a shocker until he scored - Kelly was excellent, very continental in the way he keeps the bal...
