Re: Mcd says we haven't got any cash....

Perhaps if the daft old coot stopped spouting BR style BS, like being determined to reach the Premier League, and instead preached caution and consolidation, he would not get the stick and abuse that he gets on here. If BMcD manages to keep us in the Championship, he will have done a brilliant job....

Re: James Henry

Perhaps Brizzle defenders were bad because Millwall's attackers made them look bad.

Re: Back from the game - S****horpe.

Seeing it this morning the original pass was going forward because Forte cut back in from the byline and was in front of our defensive line not behind it. When the original pass was played their player from the camera angle I saw appeared to be onside but offside when the ball deflected. Goal stands...

Re: James Henry

He's found a manager in Kenny Jackett who has faith in him that's something he didn't have here.

Re: HRK or Michail Antonio?

paddyaze HRK is assumed to be more senior, however I believe Antonio has more 1st team experience.

I'm just so glad that James Henry is no longer in their way.

That would be the same James Henry who had a hand in two of his new clubs goals yesterday.

Re: REFWATCH: Reading v Scunthorpe United

Actually if you look at it again Forte gets to the byline and comes back into the play and passes it FORWARDS it then takes a DEFLECTION and the player scores from an offside position. You are right that the guy was onside when the pass was played however.

It should be.

I didn't say it was I just meant that that is what I think should happen to simlify the rule. Didn't word it properly.

Re: REFWATCH: Reading v Scunthorpe United

Personally I think that once the deflection is made it negates the direction of the original pass because the deflection means the player is still gaining an unfair disadvantage. Maybe as some have said he wasn't offside in the first place in which case it doesn't matter but we will just have to wai...

Re: Back from the game - S****horpe.

Why is bryn getting praise? the fact he got a new 1 year deal is daylight robbery on the club. It was like playing with ten players, he contributed nothing and is so slow and imobile, time and time again Scunthorpe easily came through the middle of us in the first half, Karacan was not much better....

Re: Back from the game - S****horpe.

He's the oldest player in the team that's why he was subbed first it had nothing to do with the quality of his performance.

Re: Back from the game - S****horpe.

The ref definitely struggled to control the game probably because Kevin Nolan wasn't there to tell him what to do.

Re: Back from the game - S****horpe.

We didn't get the ball to the wingers enough after we dominated the early exchanges and we played far too direct against a Scunthorpe defence who like our own were very slow. Fed - No chance with the goals didn't have too much to do.6 Griff - Looked uncomfortable at the start but turned out to be ou...

Re: REFWATCH: Reading v Scunthorpe United

the winger played the ball away from goal towards the edge of the box, but Griffin deflected the ball forward, correct call from the ref IMO. If it's a deflection it isn't a goal. You can only score from an offside position if it's from a pass by the defending team. Wrong call and Mr Graham should ...

Re: How are Barca not being done for tapping up?

The seeds of doubt have been sown in Fabregas' head. He might not be joining Barca this year but eventually he will move like Ronaldo and his last season at United.

Re: Half-time "entertainment"

What's the fascination with half time 'entertainment' anyway? Amazingly most people pay to be entertained by the match and can manage 15 minutes amusing themselves without organized 'fun'. 'greed. t'other day at the wycombe game drilled home the fact that our fans are mongs. when the players were w...
