Dull game. Spain deserved to win, but I'd much rather watch Germany in the final. Spain seem to rely on boring the opposition into submission this competition. They were much more exciting to watch at the last Euros but here they're just dull.

The amount of time this was seemingly taking was making me doubt that we would sign him, but I'm really chuffed that it's now sorted. Just hope Zurab can follow suit now.

I don't think anyone involved with the England set-up comes out of the tournament with their reputation enhanced, so the best thing I can think to say of Ashley is that he was the least worst.

Have to say that I thought he was a class act. Very calm and composed with great reading of the game. Made things look effortless at times which is why he may be being under-rated by some. My opinion, too, & I would be very happy to have him back. I doubt we'll be able to find the money, though...
