Re: Royal Elm Park

15 million? Hardly appalling It is when you work out the value of each property that will be sold, x approx. 630 homes, plus income from the conference centre which is in competition with ours, and the temp ice rink. Our £15m is loose change in comparison. Bare in mind Nigel Howe has said REP will ...

Re: Thai owners

So here's some things I know. - Chinese are definitely a go ahead. Advanced talks mean advanced talks. Thais will sell quickly if it works for them. Chinese will buy quickly if it works for them. - It's not the same consortium as Hull - it's the "big two" - this brother and sister (who's ...

Royal Rother I know 3 Arsenal fans.

The 70 year old is reasonably sanguine, asking "who would come in and do better?"

The one 69 3/4 yr old arsenal fan I know thinks exactly the same.

Re: CheLOLsea

It is a bit ridiculous how many players these big clubs buy up just because a) they might have some potential, b) it might stop their rivals buying them and making something of that potential, or c) it might make them a little bit of money in loan fees or transfer deals. I think the only way it's g...

Re: Jazz Cafe after the match....what on earth?

Green Why is it called the Jazz cafe? Do they ever host live jazz, or even play it?

pretty certain Courtney Pine played there once.

There was a rumour earlier this year that the owners were looking at shutting it down and referb'ing the space as offices

Freemasons.

Hearing a match during the 2017 season may be sponsored by Berkshire Freemasons as part of some celebration thing.

Freemasonry and football have strong links apparently
