Re: David Meyler - Reading's biggest ever mercenary?

Absolute charlatan stealing wages. Now at least he can focus on playing fortnite with kids for his youtube channel. Mug. I remember the days when you were just slightly annoying. Now you seem to be trying to emulate John Smith in some bizarre hero worshipping tribute. Pick a style and stick with it...

Re: Are we screwed?

Whatever his name is, he's not going to have the same effect on the Majeski as Simon Osbourne had for us in the 90s. Super Si only played one season for us iirc. Left way before we moved to the Mad Stad. And today's prize for missing the point goes to …... Yep, I'm deserving of a whoosh there. Chee...

Re: Are we screwed?

I think Goalie real concern. I had Walker in to start-but looks like once again hes blotted his copybook (remember West Brom away howler ).Virginia never started a league game ? Defence looks good. Hopefully Tyler is fit. If not Yiadom will move across and Morrison play RB. Midfield: Of concern ? B...

Re: SPECULATION - Danny Williams

In a heartbeat. Categorically the best midfielder to have ever played for us. What the actual oxf*rd? Let me real off a few (not sure how long you've been watching) who are better: Caskey Sidwell Harper Osbourne Brebner Gooding And those are just the ones I can think of right now. Williams time wit...

Re: Where will we finish?

I'm thinking a mid table finish is definitely possible. I know it's a young squad, but there's some real ability in there. I'd say 13th or 14th is more than achievable.

Re: Pre season tour

Any opinion on Adam's set pieces? We've been awful at them (especially corners) *since Ian Harte died . I saw Meite win a couple of headers from well-delivered corners on the highlights, but couldn't see who took them. Also - could one of Morrison, Miazga or McIntyre play a holding midfield role? *...

Re: Pre season tour

What was the official crowd ? Difficult to tell who was Chelski before the game, but as soon as it started they all got out their camera phones lol. So plastic that they couldn't either find their seat (which is clearly printed on the ticket  ) or actually stay seated for more than 5 minutes....

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Is there? Think he might mean the away. If you look at the close-up photo there's some weird leather patch/strap. Almost like it's been patch-worked to the manikin. No I meant the home shirt.. Its a blue patch/strap on the shoulder. Go zoom in on a photo of the new shirt. Its a slightly raised piec...

Re: Rival Watch

Surprised they can afford it after the tens of millions they frittered away last year They almost certainly can't, but as long as they don't blow their whole loss allowance now as well as fail to go up immediately, they'll be ok as long as they make it back in 3 seasons. Here's to them making an al...

Re: Are we screwed?

I think we’ll be fairly comfortable. Confident we’ll get in another midfielder soon enough. Swift/Rino and Ejaria(?) all good champ players. Back 5 and Keeper are mid table+. Attack could either be fantastic or shit. I’ve no idea. Loader, Nova and Baldock could be superb or could be useless. It’s a...

Got the relevant qualifications already so not looking for a 'free ride', almost universally spoken off as a good guy to have around.
