Speculation - Stephane Sessegnon

Released by West Brom. Only 2 goals last year but I really like him as a player. Direct, quick, runs at defenders and causes problems for them.

I'd take him in a heartbeat and I don't imagine he'll get a massive wage at 31 unless he went to China.....

Re: Rumour: Howard Wilkinson (Director of Football)

He did, but you couldn't really blame him too much at the time. Cantona was a mentalist, rotten apple and was on a poor contract. Who could have known how great he'd go on to be.

Probably one of my favourite all time PL players.

Re: Hooliganism at Reading

Kirkby gave a few of us a massive bollocking when we were at Sheffield Wednesday away and got started on by their yoof walking from the tram stop in Hillsborough to the ground. He was basically saying that if you wore any labels to football you should expect to get involved in a ruck.

Re: BFTG Preston

McDermott after the game talked a lot about the scenario today summing up the last two years. Then he pretty much blamed everything on how it's been left before him. He's had 25% of the last two years so he's gotta stop blaming what was left before him. I wouldn't get this long in his wage to turn a...

Re: BFTG - Burnley

So those saying I'm talking drivel, check out Transfermarkt for the positions The various players I mentioned in my post were playing when we were playing well. As for the anecdotal stuff, yes that's a matter of opinion. I coach a kids football team and see the games through the eyes of someone want...

Re: BFTG - Burnley

Who played in your 'Tish' role after he got injured again please?

Who's been the deepest lying midfielder since he go injured?

Who lashing out at who?

Who lives for these kind of 'beefs' on Hobnob thinking a large post count makes them really important?

And you think I'm embarrassed sweetheart x

Blink and you missed him. Point taken though, but how does that change the argument? I could have said the best since sliced bread, but he never played for Reading.

Re: BFTG - Burnley

Coming away from that game today, listening to Radio Berks and reading what the local hack had to say about the performance, you could have been easily forgiven for thinking that was a really entertaining nil nil, played with a high tempo and with a demonstrable increase in the standard we've been u...

Re: January Deadline Day thread.

If we do sell Williams today I'm guessing that we'll get a decent 7 figure fee for him.

That being the case Marcus Maddison at Peterborough would be an awesome signing, out of the Nick Blackman mold. Darragh Mac has said a Chump club are extremely interested in him.

I just can't see him becoming a regular PL player that they'd tie to a new contract.

Speculation - Piazon - would you buy him?

?????? Decent enough for Reading if he ups his work rate. Can't see him getting in to a Premier League first team for any significant run of games. Transfermarkt suggests a current value of £2m with him out of Contract at Chelsea in 2017. Would be a no brainer for me. Goals, assists, very clever, an...

Re: RUMOUR - Zack Clough

I could be wrong here, but I don't recall Forster and Cureton doing very well together at all. I know Butler did alright with both of them but I seem to remember Forster and Cureton being a bit like the old Lampard/Gerrard situation.

Like I say, I could be wrong. Snowball needed.
