Re: Qatar Hero - The World Cup 2022 thread

Did make me laugh last night when you had Roy Keane with Robson-Kanu and Aluko Keanes face just shouted out "what the oxf*rd do these two amateurs know and why are they in my presence" Especially the moment Aluko seemed to cut him short, I had images of the coffee table being propelled acr...

Re: The Non - League thread

Its a strange one because it went from being a sell out to having tickets still available 2 hrs before kick off

Royals and Racers Difficult to ascertain the attendance last night- one source gives 1950.

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Interesting going forward as they have a bloody good scouting network at grassroots level
Two of our U11's are currently looking at trials and they always pick up on local talent a lot quicker then the mens scouts do

Re: The Non - League thread

Blow for Bracknell as Seb Bowerman has left and joined Dorking wanderers. Thats a big blow for Bracknell, quality forward who basically got them up last season with his goals Would be interesting to see if the new management bring anyone with them or promote any of the free scoring Sandhurst feeder...

Re: The Non - League thread

You wonder if a step up to the Aldersh*t job wouldn't be a step too far ?
Or Farnborough

Lea Barkus is still there but when you look at him during warm ups and coaching sessions I don't think he's what you call management material
He was given the Sandhurst job for a while

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

You've also got to look at production space Some clubs will have a merchandising team who will be on it booking production space as soon as the last shirt is released so that factories can start production in the fallow periods of the year where they have low productivity (sometimes yielding a sligh...

Re: Ex Players

Yep with Forest Couldn't they have got him last year for free? Seems poor business by them. Unless he turned them down of course. Yep sure Omar didn’t think long about choosing between and mid table champ side (at the time) and Bayern Have to say I’m a bit unconvinced by him. He was excellent for ha...

Re: Fixtures 2022/23

Why are we back post World cup on December 10th when the PL are not back till boxing day? Because there is more chance of a large number of PL based players being involved in the latter stages - less likely in the Champ. Plus there are 8 more games to fit in. EFL clubs will still be able to request...
