Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Thank God Bowen is here. Imagine where we'd be with the Kia recruitment model and lack of leadership. I can't see how much worse it could be a than in the bottom 2 of League 1 and losing to an injury time goal from a non league side on ITV1 on a Sunday afternoon... Don't get me wrong, I want better...

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Around 10 years ago, SJM got a £10M loan with Vibrac - as advised by C. Samuelson - which eventually led to the lender being instrumental in the sale.

Would something like this be needed now?

Hound Apparently close to signing exclusivity with Genevra associates - James Earnshaw

So I''ll ask the naive question - what's the incentive for a Hedge Fund to purchase a League One club?

It's not for community spirit...

Re: Potential New Owners

As it turned out yes - but I honestly think SJM thought he had found a real billionaire rather than the wide boy son of a billionaire. Its certainly been all down hill from there and I really hope the Ashley rumours are true. Maybe Ashley wants to be loved after all the hate at Newcastle. I would j...

Re: Potential New Owners

SJM spent about 5 years touting the club for sale and that was when we were well run and successful. Even then, the only person to bite was a Russian chancer with daddy's credit card. Depends on how desperately he was trying to sell the club in those five years - he wasn't being forced out of the c...

Re: Potential New Owners

Would be pretty shit, but he pulls this type of thing with F1 as well, only for it to go absolutely nowhere. Would take it with a pinch of salt at this time. I get where you're coming from, but he's been granted access to Bearwood so must be in talks. The Telegraph reported a few interested parties...

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo (1st 23/24 embargo)

This is really interesting, thanks. I am struggling with this as, as far as I can see, the owner put in a lot of money to get the club into the PL and did it very badly, failed, ended up falling foul of FFP and now, with the difference in income in L1 vs, the Championship, there is a real struggle ...

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo (1st 23/24 embargo)

Technically HMRC should issue a statutory demand, wait three weeks and then issue the WUP. However, for repeat offenders HMRC can issue demand today and only give 24 hours notice of the WUP. However, the hearing at court takes a little while for it to be heard but it is still very much a tightrope ...

Well at least the title of the thread is apt. As the bible is littered with lies and inaccuracies too  Or clear metaphors and complex concepts - representative of living a good life - written in ancient times - depending upon how you see it….. It’s probably best not to criticise religious book...

Re: Potential New Owners

Championship clubs are more expensive, whereas we should be in bargain territory. Why would we be a bargain? Because a club in desperate need of financial support will be in a weaker position than a club that is financially stable.[/quote] Our price is what Dai wants to recoup. He's dropped £70m++ ...
