Re: MATCHWATCH : Oxford United (h)

What a dreadful second half and even the atmosphere was rubbish. I thought Oxford looked in control without getting into a higher gear. Throughout my lifetime of supporting Reading, barring the last few years, we’ve always managed to build up a head of steam in home games and put sides under the cos...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I am not sure if it’s just twitter bollox, but I have seen tweets saying that the deal with Genevra has collapsed. The reason being that Samuelson was involved and his fee, along with Howe’s fee couldn’t be agreed. If true how the oxf*rd can Samuelson be allowed anywhere near our club again.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Oxford United (h)

I have no enthusiasm for this, but I will go. Years ago, I would have been well up for this game, but watching too many dire games in recent years has made me feel pretty nonplussed about this one. I’d settle for a draw, but I am expecting a 3-1 defeat. A 3-0 defeat at the Manor Ground around March ...

Re: BFTG - Barnsley (H)

I didn’t hear anything on BBCRB after the game on Saturday. However, my mate mentioned Dellor said based on Dai’s overall wealth the club was equivalent to about £10. Also, reckoned he was jumping on the bandwagon of blaming the EFL for our plight. If that was the case he has clearly demonstrated ho...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

Usual Twitter meltdown without actually thinking . 7k has been raised, that’s all. We don’t know how many staff there are, but it is believed to be more than 200, but less than 500. If the 7k was split between all staff - as per the requests from the Twitter knob heads it would be £35 each if 200 s...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

I am not sure if it’s true but I am hearing that the money raised by fans for the staff is going to be spent on a Christmas party. I didn’t donate much but I thought the money was going to be used as an emergency fund for staff in case there are future issues with payment of their wages. Its being ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

We need a Michael Craig for every position or at least for the fullbacks to have his calmness in possession. He’s the most complete midfielder at the club by far. As for today, I have seen a lot worse. Tbf, the better side won, but it could have been a different story if Cole hadn’t scored that worl...

Re: transfer window

Can't spend a penny on fees until 2025. Whether we can make any signings at all depends on what day it is and whether we're in debt to HMRC at the time. Oh, and according to Selles we're butting up against a hard limit on wage bill and squad size. Weren't the club going to appeal the 2p25 embargo i...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

I wonder if Selles might try Mola at RB for this one. Based on the Charlton game he looks a much better RB than LB.

I’ll tell you what I’m oxf*rd impressed how just over 200 Reading fans have raised almost £6k for the Reading staff so far. Yes an average of almost £30 each is pretty good going. Presume anything left in the fund will be held over for the next failure... Star put in £1000 https://i.ibb.co/j3zdyVp/...

Re: Dom Ballard

Just wondering with Ballard’s season ending injury, paying the tax bill and J Clarke going out on loan if we are looking to sign a new striker.

I’d be happy with a free agent who has league one/two or National League experience. Someone in the mould of the Eastleigh strikers would suit me.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

I am looking forward to this one and I think we’ll win. I have had times of dreading going, but nowhere near as bad as last season. I am worried about the club folding so am just trying to enjoy every game atm. The reality is if a Phoenix club had to be formed, I might not be around long enough to s...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h)

I am just glad that we won a game albeit on penalties. Is Mola a LB or RB as he looks better at RB. League One survival and a trip to Wembley would be pretty special.

Also , I hope IR can find a way of getting rid of Dai without being caught.

Two pretty strong teams today. I reckon Selles has been told we need to get to Wembley to save the club.

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

HMRC looks to have been paid as we are off the embargo list again. That sounds a bit more encouraging. who knows, very little makes sense any more. This is just wishful thinking really, but I was hoping that the stumbling block with the takeover might be something along the lines of who picks up th...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

It achieves nothing. We should take a leaf out of Southend's book and protest outside his mansion, or perhaps that exclusive Mayfair club he likes to be seen at. Yes, fully agree. The protests need to be taken to the homes of the real villains in this piece - Dai Yongge and The EFL. As much as I do...
