I had'nt decided we'd lost I generally leave 8 mins before the end So - you pay your money - generally 30 odd quid and then miss 8% of the game (more if there is less than 5 mins injury time each match.) That's the equivalent of going to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and leaving before anyone ha...

Looking forward to having a Man Utd fan try and sit in my seat! Use some common sense mate - you don't sell the South Stand and then give it away to someone else. A typical scenario: Ooh Hello Mr Reading Fan - I am sorry but your Rollover Hotdog and Beer have been given to a Man Utd fan today becaus...

As posted on the CP forum I emailed the club to register my protest. Some of the response is written below.Thought it might be of interest and usefulness. We are also very keen to ensure the team is cheered on by full houses in all the games leading up to Christmas. All linked games will remain lin...

What kind of marketing enterprise discounts its sub-standard product by forcing compulsory purchase alongside its premium goods when there is a viable market if the other goods are available at the right price? Too right! Soon enough we will have merchandise in the shop linked. To buy an away shirt...

The proposal put to us was that to buy a ticket for the big attractions for the arm-chair fans the club would link them with a ticket for any silver game. This seemed a good idea as Royalty points alone may not stop people from trying to abuse the system and any real Reading fan would be able to fi...

RFC do not want fans that cant afford all the games, please think it through Then they are going to alienate a lot of us very quickly. I hope they don't think that way..... surely they don't............... Surely STAR won't let them............... Still Waiting for an answer STAR........

It's very simple: Man Utd game in September: £32 Charlton game in November £28 Therefore £60. Now add another family member. = £120. I know credit cards exist. I know some of you have lots of money. Some of us don't! Attending football is an absolute luxury for me and I go to a game once a month...

Linking Tickets - where is the answer?

From the Club Policies forum there can be a lot of outrage at the Linked ticket system. (Don't know how to add a link - sorry!) STAR are apparently supporting this! Many of us poorer fans would like a decent explanation of why they are supporting a policy that prevents people who have built up their...

In summary, I don't see anything much wrong with the club effectively saying "if you want to buy tickets for us playing a popular team you need to make a bit more of a commitment to us and buy tickets for a less popular game too." Is this "Official" from STAR? What about those o...

cmonurz Thanks TLH - so I assign one ticket to me, and another to a non-member? Can anyone else confirm that R30-32 are home fans this game (not that the OS would sell me an away ticket, but still)?

I can confirm! ROGER WILKO AND OUT!

Demand is outstripping supply due to the size of the ground and therefore restrictions need to be placed on who can buy tickets to make sure that those who have committed money to the club buying buying tickets recently are those who get priority. WHY? I can understand it for the end of last season...

Yes there will be some people who genuinely want to become fans of RFC who miss out, but if you don't have the royalty points systems many more "genuine" fans will miss out because there will be a queue of people wanting to see matches just because we are in the Premiership and they wants...
