Re: Potential New Owners

I've been told the Administration rumour is not true, and so far the guy with the news has been pretty reliable.

Re: Injury watch 2023/24

There's a post on Twitter claiming that after Ejaria refused to go on at Hull he left the ground there and then in his track suit and got the train home. The same post claims he has lunch away from the players in his car. Saw that, quite an interesting read - https://twitter.com/ThomasH_1871/status...

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

Stranded Cool - this is where "Who Moved the Goalposts?" comes in handy, was first with the news of non-payment last month.

All quiet so far!

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

Why have we been treated differently to Wigan? They paid wages late three times and only got a suspended penalty. We've got an immediate deduction.... Looks the same - their owner also refused to pay money into a side account to cover wages Agree. It appears to be a different penalty for the same o...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Re Caicedo vs. Bellingham, one essential difference in the transfers is the level of wages, bonuses, signing fees and agents fees associated with any Bellingham transfer that don't exist to the same extent with Caicedo. It's a cracking signing - and totally hilarious that they have taken him from u...

Re: BFTG Peterborough

I think there was some promise. Savage was excellent. Always looking for space and wanting the ball, even though he faded in the second half. Guiness Walker and Mbuenge were very good going forward and were our biggest threats in the second half. Knibbs totally anonymous, and I cannot agree that Hut...

Lol sorry - should have said thats from within the club not the EFL site. And more players to announced imminently. I was a bit late with this!

Clyde1998 Of course - getting our previous sanctions mixed up.

Easily done when our club is rapidly becoming known for having more sanctions than honours.

Who Moved The Goalposts? Have heard there may be some more HMRC related news on the way!

Let me guess, if true, the club are late on the next PAYE payment.

Got it in one.

But associated news is that additional investment is very, very close.

Re: Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

Heard a few whispers that we will make several signings very soon. But we have no money in the pot for transfer fees so all will be free agents and loans. But whilst we are embargo free, we still have to stick to an agreement with the EFL on maximum wages and percentage spent on agents fees.

Re: New embargo incoming

Fair enough. Nothing would surprise me tbh. I have even wondered whether it’s political because we have a Chinese owner and the ongoing situation in Ukraine. I have got my season ticket and I still plan to go to every game home and away. All I want to see is a more entertaining brand of football an...

Re: New embargo incoming

I would suggest to you guys that you need to read between the lines with what's going on right now. If everything was 'ok' at the club do you really think the EFL would have bothered to charged us over a few historic technical breaches of the rules? Why do you think they took the extraordinary step...

I bet Select Car Leasing must feel overjoyed at the reach their sponsorship deal is getting if it isn't even making it to the club's employees!
