Re: Watford are not happy

I think they are right to be pissed off, looks like they were playing better football with him, they gave him a chance, and he pissed off after just half a season, however the club chairman should have refused us permission to talk to him. We would have walked away, but they were tempted by the money.

Re: New manager [Merged]

From what I could gather, Copps was on a salary of £1 million, we've just had to pay out £800k before paying Rodgers a comparable wage - I'd have rather paid someone like Curbs a £2 million salary - but that's just me, I suppose. I thought Coppell was on £1m in the prem, which imediately halved on ...

Big rumour going around that Ferguson is to resign from Peterborough by the end of the week. Expect it to be in the national press in the morning.

Re: Season Tickets 2009-10

It looks like the T/O will be processing about 6000 transactions per game if we make 12000 ST holders, so divide the 9000 free seats and it will add about 1000 transactions, though those seats will then be sold, so a full sale transaction might be lost, so not that many more transactions at all real...

Sat in the stands screaming for Hopkins to tackle on the third goal out wide, sadly he did not and they got an easy cross. Was a few seats behind the leader from Reading Council, wonder what became of him??

Re: Ivar was my best signing for Royals...

But me knowing a lot less about the game that he does, I would have to go for the more flash and more obvious. Mr K Doyle. K Doyle still has the potential to be a Premier League player, however it is now back to potential, due to his goal drought after Xmas in the last two seasons, there does not s...

Re: Ivar was my best signing for Royals...

Signed a couple of weeks after SC joined, and still in the team, or would have been at the end. Never flash but Ivar has been a solid player all along, many said he was past it, but it is odd how we fell away after he was injured??

Still lets have Bikey and Pearce, then we will be ok, or not.

While we're being pedantic, I think at least 3 of those scores are wrong.

I copied them from the results section of HNA, blame Mr Nob if they are.

Re: Matejovsky Keen to Stay

SHORT AND CURLY He gives the ball away far to often. He persistently gives free kicks away with niggly fouls because he cant tackle.
The plus side he scores spectacular goals.
I`m in the "flatter to deceive" camp on this one.

The pre match vids will always look back, however, it should look back to last season and no further, IMHO.
