Re: Back from the sofa - Brentford (H)

Three minor observations: 1. Ola John culpable for the Woods goal. He rarely tracks back and he let the advancing player just drift in behind him unchecked. If you saw the reaction of McDermott to this you might realise why he was taken off. 2. LOL @ bringing on Liburd instead of Sa. 3. I actually t...

Re: FAO Chris Gunter

Agree.......disagree with BCubed....it IS the players problem...just don't do it...it's cheating, simples Since when were we Chelsea (or any other Premier club lol anyway?) Every player in every club does it. No doubt they are encouraged or even instructed to go down when they feel any touch You mi...

Re: FAO Chris Gunter

Too many people on this site have no idea about football. If you're running with the ball, the slightest touch can put you off balance, doesn't mean it's a pen or a dive. If you've felt a touch and it's brought you to the ground you'll believe it's a foul. Maybe it is! If that had happened on the h...

Re: FAO Chris Gunter

Couldn't see if it was a dive from the away end, but judging by the reception he got afterwards and the comment by those who watched on sky, absolutely disgraceful. I actually I felt he's been improved as of late, but he's still shit. He's the sort of person who would listen to the Pet Shop Boys be...

FAO Chris Gunter

Would it be too much to ask - when in the opposition penalty area - instead of performing a truly pathetic and embarrassing dive, to actually attempt a forward or incisive pass? I know you're not capable of one, but at least give it a try.

Please kindly leave the club, you oxf*rd pansy.

Re: PA announcer

PA announcer is bad but the whole PA usage is just abysmal. Deafening music meaning you literally cannot hear the person stood next to you, sirens before the game, goal celebration music etc etc I am there to watch football you pcunts not to see a pantomime nothing will top announcing the score at ...

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film/Youtube

Alan Sedunary has just passed me this gem of a link, with the question "How many would have been sent off in the final goalmouth scramble?" Hopefully he won't mind me sharing it with a wider audience. Joe Duckworth certainly earned his corn that day! 23,703 at a snowbound Elm Park on 16th...

Re: MK Dons (A) - 16th January

John Smith I'll wait until the lower tier goes on sale for this.

Went to the friendly a few years ago so not too arsed if I miss it. I reckon we'll should take near 3000 though surely?

I don't think the lower tier goes on sale until you shift 6,000 tickets.

McDermolenko
That was an error, though - I contacted them myself, funny enough, and it's since been corrected to 25/1 (as it was meant to be).

Re: Welcome back Brian?

I have heard from a reliable source that the reason that our beloved Brian hasn't signed on the line yet is due to Gunter! Apparently him as a ring leader along with a number of other players have stood their ground to halt him arriving as the new boss. Thoughts...... It's funny how everyone sudden...

Re: Welcome back Brian

Absolutely delighted to be welcoming back Brian - should never have been sacked in the first place. I don't know why some are so miffed - Brian is Reading through and through and it's a game of oxf*rd football, you're not picking a wife or husband here. We can all be thankful we don't still have Ad...

Re: The New Manager Poll

I'm surprised nobody has worked it out yet. The next manager will be Portuguese. Sa, John, Hurtado, Lisandro Semedo - all came through the same Portuguese agent that the Thais' are very close with. They'll go down this route for the manager. Back on page 2 blud Recks it'll be some random Portugueez...
