Amazing how people over react, it is an obvious personal dislike for him and for people to bring up old threads is very sad. Probably a lot of people who have been proven wrong just trying to prove something..... If he was shagging a girl of 15 & had a coke habit i could understand. :x I usuall...

Royalee There's a potential 8 points he cost us already, along with the countless points he's cost us playing Gunnarsson all season.

It's quite right to criticise decisions - I'm no blind loyalist - but how do you measure the above against the points he's gained for us?

New Year, New Format! USA - 6 Seems to make at least one error per match. This time it was costly and undid the good penalty save. Kicking an improvement. he didn't make save...if the ball hadn't of struck the post it would of got past him, he was about a foot away from the post when the ball hit i...

My ratings (hopefully favouritism-free):- USA - 8 (two important saves, generally in charge of his area) Murts - 7 (the usual footballing dictionary definition of solid and dependable) Shorey - 7 (also solid, dead ball delivery an improvement on the Brum match) Sonks - 6 (improvement all-round, but ...

Re: player ratings v sunderland

Doyle - probably agree with rating but not with comment; turned his marker several times in first half, just his finishing was poor. Worked very, very hard though to compensate. Spot on. I'm amazed at the negative comments about Doyle - he's such a worker, and despite unfortunately drifting into an...

Hate to say it, but I thought it was a pen (sat directly in line in East Stand Y25), Jones doing the old Hunty trick of edging the ball past the defender and 'drawing' the foul. Sonks has been living dangerously with his tackles in the past two or three games - get that extension a split second late...

I think I must be alone in thinking that Cissé did OK. He certainly started cold, but he was hardly alone in that given that we were one down after a few minutes. Apart from that, yes most of what he did was positional/defensive stuff in the first half, but once he and Harper got their act together...
