Re: RFC buying fake followers - Twitter

Simon's Church
Green They might just be spam accounts, how do Reading's stats stack up against other teams (in terms of % fake accounts)?

Quick check on that site has us at 61% real, Derby 67% and Forest 59%

:|

Thanks SC, looks like we're done here.

Re: Millwall Away

Spinoff thread material but what ground did you first get served in?

Not many did it back in my day but I remember getting a pint of McEwan's up at Stoke City when I was 16 8)

Re: Millwall Away

What's the drinking situation at half time at Millwall? I guess my question forms two parts - (i) is any available, and (ii) how horrendous are the queues :?: Went back in 2010 on an evening game - can't find how many fans we had may have been around 600-800 I would imagine. Queues were non existen...

Re: Accounts

How was the purchase of the training ground at Bearwood factored into the accounts - is it a lump sum this year or is staggered? If it's all this year I'd imagine that would change things quite a bit. £3m+ addition to Fixed Assets - I assume this would be Bearwood? Doesn't have an impact on the Pro...

Re: Goal Celebration Music (poll)

Sorry didn't mean to touch a nerve, just meant it's inseparable from the out of town all seater stadia experience in my mind.

Did introducing goal music make much difference in 200x then? TBF I can well imagine it didn't really which I guess is your point.

Re: Accounts

wages 46.1  that cant be right can it? 20 grand a week is 1 mill a year that would mean we have as an average 46 players in our squad on 20 grand a week. now obviously we have players on more and some on less but how many players do we have on more that 20 grand a week? cant be more that wha...

Re: Goal Celebration Music (poll)

Can't say it bothers me too much. I'm able to celebrate a goal with or without a bit of music. I'm flexible like that. I suspect this is a generation thing tbh. Those of us who've grown up with it probably can't see the problem with it, while those of us who remember the roar and surge of the crowd...

Re: Millwall Away

What is the quickest way from Paddington to LDN Bridge people? Circle line to baker street - jubilee line to LDN Bridge? Thanks :D I used to do this journey regularly to work & its quicker to go Bakerloo to Baker St & Jubilee to LB. The Bakerloo & Jubilee platforms are next to each othe...

I'd second that. Nice garden and they do a decent roast on a Sunday.

Better options for pre football drinking though.

Re: Millwall Away

Don't know the Hornyman, 2 pints out of 5 on FAP which sounds about what I'd have expected. Starting to doubt your credentials as HNA's self-appointed authority on London pubs :!: Au contraire. They sell plastic bottles at Fulham.

I think it's more that English people just like drinking a pint. A bottle isn't the same.

mr_number Until one of you does the analysis pre-1991, I really don't see that these boundary issues are going to have any impact on the price of fish.

Far be it from any of us to tread on your toes here mr numbers, just do it when you have the time I'm happy to wait.

Stuka They should stick Reading in the Oyster zone. Special dispensation.

Elm Park is already there after all.

Plenty of royals too - Royal Oak, Park Royal, Royal Albert, Royal Victoria
