Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (a)

4-3-3 and lets try and take the game to them instead of being on the back foot as usual. They might have a new manager which will give them a boost for sure, but if we can get the first goal then their confidence should evaporate pretty sharpish. Bouzanis Yiadom Holmes Hutchinson NGW Fornah Loum Hen...

Re: PInce - Concerns Developing - Is He Confused?

Ince stated his preferred formation is 4-2-3-1we didn't have the players early on to play this system so we went with 5 at the back. Its not pretty but it worked and got us a better start than expected. Now we have a serious injury crisis within the defensive unit but the rest of the squad is pretty...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h)

Cannot wait for Ince's excuses later on!! To many games, lack of experienced players!!
Bullshit, every team's in the same boat and we've a bench of senior pro's for the first time in ages....Ince starting to get found out i think.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h)

Preston have scored 14 goals all season yet here we are playing a back 5. I get that the season is all about grinding out results but Preston are here for the taking plus we're their bogey team!!
Lets go 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 and get at them for christ sake!!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h)

Sutekh I don’t like playing teams that are organised and good at defending

Both teams playing 5 at the back, so boring!!! we need to play more adventurous football at home.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h)

Team looks good. I’d see if there was some way to rotate Hoilett out though - do like him but thought he was poor against Luton. Maybe he is the only option though with the other CBs injured Hutch could be back for this I believe so maybe something there - yiadom to RWB Abrefa, if fit, has shown en...

Re: Berks and Bucks senior cup 2022/23

Windsor 0 Bracknell 8 Only took 30 secs approx for Bracknell to highlight the difference in class as they opened the scoring with a slick move. Bracknell included a fair sprinkling of 1st team regulars and were 3-0 up at half time. The only real good scoring chance the home team had was a missed pe...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h)

Other than at CB and RB we have plenty of options for once Difficult to drop Meite or Ince after they’ve just scored and wouldn’t do anyway Midfield is too samey atm. Get Ejaria in there I think, maybe also Hoilett further forward, though may be needed at RB. Need more energy in there as we were sl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a)

I would like us to revert back to the 4-2-3-1 system. Yiadom and Hoilett are playing out of position which isn't ideal so i would go with this team.

Yiadom Holmes McIntyre GW

Loum Fornah

Ince Ejaria Hoilett

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a)

Sarr, Loum and Fornah all terrific, Hutchinson good. I know it’s early days but Bowen at DOF looks to be a stroke of genius. I know he didn’t play but NGW has impressed me too! Shows how much money we've wasted the last ten years, when you can build a squad capable of competing on a shoestring. Thi...

Re: Rival Watch

Preston games seem like a bit if a slog this year. 4 0-0 draws and a 1-0 win at Luton. Incredible defence to not have conceded but 450 mins of football to date with 1 goal to show for it. Its that new 8-1-1 formation, great for not conceding yet a bit tough on the one player 50 yards away from the ...

Snowflake Royal Chances of Hoilett or NGW being out injured? Hoilett took a heavy knock and NGW sat down before going off today.

Both could be a bit squeeky bum.

TiagoIlori Southwood has conceded 7 tonight to Exeter at his clubs own gaff

Wonder if any were down to him.

If that was an Ice Hockey match they would've pulled the keeper long before it got to 7!!! :D

Would be pretty harsh of the EFL to fine us given our current circumstances plus the amount of dithering they take for us to sign players in!!!
Most teams put out their second string in the early rounds of the cup, we're struggling to put out a first team in any competition

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

If we get anywhere over 12k that will be decent given recent home form, the injury list that has pricked any early season excitement plus the impact of holidays etc. Cardiff will sell their tickets so there's 2,000 in the away end and i would like to think we can muster up more than 9,000 so 12,000...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

I am looking forward to the game but have a horrible feeling we’ll get well beaten. I can’t see the lineup being any different to the Blackpool game. I am not convinced Loum or Sarr (if signed) will play. I just hope we don’t get anymore injuries. Would be nice to have Sarr & Loum on the bench ...
