Re: Building for next season

How about we try and have an injury free season too?? Dont think once this season we have fielded Obita with Swift and Kelly on the same starting 11. Failures of this year could be largely down the inconsistent squads, formations and injuries. By next season Clement should know his preferred format...

Re: Building for next season

From Despair To Where? 4 pages in and no-one's offered an opinion on our Leichtensteiner saviour in waiting, Sandro Wieser.

Try to sell him, realise no one is gonna buy him, wait to release him in 2019.

Re: Building for next season

Can you release players still in contract? surely its not that easy. It's never going to be easy to shift contracted players unless there is a demand for them, unlikely with our overpaid, underperforming lot. My opinion assuming we stay up: Mannone - Keep Jakkola - Out of Contract, release Bond - O...

Re: Nicky Hammond Leaves WBA

I think some people have short memories with regard to BT, after last season he was getting a lot of praise for his work at the club but now he's the worst thing in the world. That said, I'm sure we wouldn't have signed Aluko under NH, he would have pulled out of the deal long before they started as...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Can’t see Joey or Edwards playing next season Swift/Bacuna/Kelly is prob our best combo but Bacuna’s stupidity has messed that up I’m not convinced Evans is any better than an ok fill in. He hasn’t really progressed and never seems to dominate a game Interesting to see Rinomhota was picked ahead of...

Re: Relegation Watch

And I remember I got laughed at back in October when I said that we could go down. We've been close to the drop even if we do get the points to survive. I very much doubt people were laughing at your for suggesting we might go down. I know you were one of the people calling for Stam's head in Octob...

Re: Rival Watch

genome What would happen if Cardiff and Derby played each other in the Playoff Final? Considering both are perennial bottlers, would the universe implode?

We'll somehow win the play-offs.

Re: Rival Watch

I'd like Fulham and probably Villa to go up as they are probably most likely to be up there competing next season anyway, should Clement work his magic and improve the squad. Obviously guesswork now but I feel this division would be weaker with those two promoted.

Re: Relegation Watch

Barnsley are a real wildcard when it comes to working out who will take that third spot, they have a game in hand and are the only team who can realistically better our goal difference.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

Rusty royal From the BBC website
Fulham go second, eight points behind leaders Wolves, with a 1-0 victory over 10-man Reading.

How long were we down to 10 men

It's all clear now, Bacuna got himself sent off so the headlines would make the 1-0 loss sound more impressive.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

This was going to be the most likely round of fixtures that dragged us closer to the relegation zone, thankfully everyone lost, except Sunderland who basically lost, a draw isn't good enough for them.
