Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h)

No, he just served a 1 match suspension. Ignore what I said above regarding the team then, who is it that is suspended as I'm sure we had someone, Hoilett? If so just swap Hoilett with Yiadom in my team above. I think sky said he was suspended for the next match on the comms - but did think that wa...

Re: Rival Watch

windermereROYAL Jeremy Simpson was 4th official, he probably had some input.

How is this even allowed that an official can go back to back on teams?!

Must have a clause that he can only work in his home county of Lancashire.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

Millsy Don't quite understand people knocking the game, there's been quite a few chances and drama.

The ground is shit - makes Loftus Road look good - but the game itself isn't bad.

Agreed Millsy, it was a thoroughly enjoying encounter. Liked it being a bit more agricultural.

Re: Catering outside Stadium

'Better than they have been for years (and years)' ? You weren't a fan of the excellent and varied, good value offering from Blue Collar then? I went to Blue Collar Corner for the first time before the game on Saturday - it was fantastic. A great pint of craft beer, two really tasty bao buns, fair ...

Re: Catering outside Stadium

I'm going tomorrow with 6 hungry 10/11 year olds. What sort of fayre can I expect? The food and the various options are better than they have been for years (and years), it costs an arm and a leg tho’, cheaper to eat at Miller & Carter en-route 'Better than they have been for years (and years)'...

CountryRoyal We’re so lucky to have a player like Hendrick, consistently putting in fantastic performances making him genuinely undroppable. First name on the team sheet, and if we could only play with 1 player he’d be the last one too. What a guy.

Hendrick was superb today

Royal_jimmy Absolutely loved that 2nd goal. Quality and priceless! Wasn't our best performance but who cares. Good win!

3 of the next 4 are tough

Loved that goal also - these are the moments we live for as football fans! And exactly why you never leave early.

Brizzle fans on the bus reckon we got away with another Hutchinsonesque handball in the second half - anyone down in Club 1871 have a good view?

I still think 28/1 to score any time is crazy odds for someone who has chances at set pieces every home game (Holmes)

Re: WTF is going on with the online fan store?

What merch/clobber would people like to see? I'd be partial to a Reading FC snowstorm, maybe some hoops tinsel for the Christmas tree and a Hogwood Lego set. A set of premium crackers - filled with a miniature figure of a current or former Reading player and the words to a classic Reading song. And...

Zip Never a pen for the fake hoops. Just seen it again and I just can't see the foul.

Clear pen when you see the angle from behind the goal - Loum carelessly smashed in to the QPR player.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h)

So proud of the boys tonight. Make no mistake, Norwich have a squad full of class, skilful players. We competed and at times bettered them. First half the better side but then responded brilliantly when going behind. What almost impressed me most was the full commitment from everyone when Norwich we...

Holmes remains 25/1 or 28/1 to score anytime with Sky Bet. It’s coming….maybe not tonight, but he is captain….

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Important win yesterday, not flashy to say the least but gritty and were probably well placed to get the win, glad to have a clean sheet as well, even though Wigan would have probably said a draw may have been a fair result. Tidy free kick from Ince, particularly considering the talk was we didn't ...

Snowflake Royal 10 games in, still no draws.

I’ve always the worst type of team to support is a heavy drawer. The score differential makes it a dangerous game - would much rather be feast or famine like us this season.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

The willy-waving about attendances is mainly from the clubs who like to think of themselves as big clubs, but aren't. Genuinely big clubs compare themselves against the other big clubs. Agree to a certain extent, but there are several clubs who are now pulling in at least double the numbers we are,...
