Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (h)

Hotel bar is pretty quiet right now. An eerie feeling about the place, almost a feeling of "what are we doing here?"

I'm sure a couple of pints will help my feelings :D

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

secks So, I'm assuming as this was originally scheduled for 3pm on a Saturday that there's no Sky Red Button tonight? Thanks

Re: Relegation

Totally agree with Zip and CR. No one can say if we will be competitive in League One. We would have less season ticket holders. less revenue through the gate, and a massvie drop in revenue from Sky. Take into account that far less than 30% of income is through season tickets and gate receipts. Like...

Re: Relegation

Not prohibative no but much harder to meet - we won't be allowed to go forward in L1 with a 16m wage bill, that is for certain, how low will imagine on what we expect our income to be next year - that will be markedly lower - possibly half of what we can expect in the Champ in terms of TV money, at...

Re: How much longer can this go on for? And what will happen in 3-5 years if it does?

Hopefully a new manager will get us the 7-8 wins we need this season to stay up. The club needs a refresh. Manager - get rid. Coaching staff - get rid. Medical staff - get rid. . That will be cheap won`t it, are you a financial expert by any chance? Not sure if you are serious. Yes, I am a financia...

Re: How much longer can this go on for? And what will happen in 3-5 years if it does?

We have a fan base WAY bigger than the clubs you refer to. As a minimum, we will still get a relatively decent crowd which will provide a relatively decent income. What we DO NOT want is relegation this season. Hopefully a new manager will get us the 7-8 wins we need this season to stay up. The club...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

My preference is management stability, but Pauno is SO WAY WAY out of his depth. If he was man enough, he would resign. Sadly he won't and we will have to pay him off. Hard to think of a worst manager in recent times for us. Can't wait for him to leave. So out of his depth it is frightening. Please ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

Kidderminster far too good for Reading reserves. All credit to them, hope they get a terrific tie in the next round. VP has delivered possibly the most embarrassing FA Cup result in Reading’s history. The performance has been inexcusable - trouble is it’s not a one off as every game Reading struggl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

So when we talk about the club's poor attitude to the FA Cup....this is where we have reached recently.... 20/21 3rd round 19/20 5th round 18/19 3rd round (Man ure) 17/18 4th round 16/17 3rd round (Man ure) 15/16 quarter-finals 14/15 semi-finals Over the last 7 seasons, if we avoid those painful pl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

We've never lost to a team in the FA Cup starting with the letter 'K'.

Our record is actually quite outstanding. Beating Kettering 4-2 in both 1960 and 1979. Surely that's a good sign :D :D

Sadly, I think he has to go. I would prefer stability, but we simply have to stay up.

Get rid tomorrow, and bring someone in who MAY keep us up.

Re: Rival Watch

Not too bad set or results in the end then. Thought Cardiff might take all 3 points and good to have Birmingham lose. Looks like Cardiff will lose flint for a suspension as well. Brum Will be well in range if we can pick up a win Bristol c prob a bit too strong to really be pulled into it imo. Yeah...

Mid Sussex Royal Millwall winning at Bristol in early game; also just noticed Peterboro's V Bournemouth tomorrow is off.

Correct. Like I said, if Brizzle and Cardiff were to lose today. And we win tomorrow...what with P'boro game off, the table would look a
whole lot better :D Just saying.

Re: Rival Watch

Bristol City (home to Millwall) and Cardiff (away to WBA) play this afternoon. Any dropped points from these two is a bit of a bonus. But these is a niggly six-point gap between 18th (Brizzle) and 19th (Hull). Would be nice if we could drag Bristol, Brum and Swansea into the mix. The more the merrie...
