Re: Players you'd like us to sign thread

Yanic Wildschut at Wigan looks a useful striker. Got a few goals for a dire Latics team this season and every time I see highlights of their games, he seems to be one of their top performers. And he's Dutch! :D Cheers, I posted pretty much the same on page one but it got ignored. Good, strong player.

Re: Huddersfield (a)

gdroyal Worth noting that if Huddersfield beat Rochdale in the next round of the cup then our game on the 18th Feb would be moved - probably to the Tuesday 21st.

Oh wow, seems like Christmas this year might have moved to Feb 21st! C'Mon the Terriers - nothing like midweek trip to the John Smiths!

Re: BTFS - QPR

Another terrible Reading QPR game. Will Sky ever learn? I'm utterly bemused as to why they keep doing it. Do they think it's a derby or something? Based on the season so far, the aim should be the playoffs Brighton and Newcastle I think will get automatic and Leeds and Derby will be in the play off...

Re: Tomorrow's Match at Risk? Snow!!

Meh, if the Derby game 6 years ago went ahead, I'm sure this one will. My only ever away day! I've only been to 1 home game mind I was living in Derby at the time so had no problems making the game, I recall the coaches had to turn round because of the travel conditions. At the end of the game Shan...

Re: Rumour - Scott Hogan

Fukcing hell, Brentford are taking the piss Say what you want about Vydra , but he has done a hell of a lot more than Hogan in this league... Ok well allow me to kick things off: he's had one good season at a club he couldn't stabilise a first team position at once in the Prem, proven to be a fraud...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queen's Park Rangers (h) sponsored by a last minute howler

Being on Sky I would imagine they'll do everything possible to make sure the game goes ahead to completion. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/well-prepared-weather-reading-qpr-snow-forecast-3514639.aspx Club seem fiercely confident that the game will go ahead. The plan to grit after t...

Re: Promotion: Yea or Nay

Obviously I'm up for promotion and the financial gains it brings, seeing great players in fabulous arenas. Although I was thoroughly depressed last time, as we got our arses kicked week in week out  I was sort of pining for competitive games again. Then there is the Circus that is the Premier ...

Re: Promotion: Yea or Nay

Evans looks like Sidwell when he was in his first season with us. I can see Evans continuing to develop and potentially become a club legend with us. I'm much happier when Evans is picked in the team than Van den Berg . I think we tend to achieve better results with Evans in the side than we do wit...

Mike Hunt No. A year too early.

The problem is, I can see us losing Stam, Kelly, Evans and Swift in the summer....

Evans?! He's a mediocre squad player.

I've seen Wigan a few times this season and like the look of Yanic Wildschut. Admittedly his record isn't amazing but I think he'd be good with decent service in a decent time like ours

I was thinking he didn't look out of place up against Man United. He could easily walk into a WBA or Palace and for that reason we should keep him at all (bar ridiculous) costs.

I think we'll win. We've got a good record up there and we'll take the momentum from Wednesday (Saturday).

In fact, I think we'll thrash them and even score a penalty

Re: The romance of the cup

Heart, I've already seen us get smashed at Brentford and Fulham so it'll make no difference if we get smashed there. Agreed, heart all the way. For these games I always think - I would rather be there and lose than not go and we win/draw. If we were to win, I would ecstatic, but I would hate the fa...
