Re: English players at RFC - do you care?

We need some home grown players, the majority of players to be familiar with the English lifestyle and they should speak English. Nationality is not important, although as an Englishman I would like to see all clubs field some English players.

His lack of pace will be a problem in the premiership, until he is more experienced at reading the game better

Re: So, we go down next season, who will get us back up?

So, we go down next season, who will get us back up? If we go down we'll be in a better position to come back up than we were the last time, even if those three players are no longer at the club. I reckon Alf and Hunt, Pogrebnyak will have f*cked off by then. Quite possible if they are not getting ...

Re: Can you see us in the Champions league?

I can't see Reading in the Champions League in it's current format, maybe if they extend the number of spots we might be in with a shout, particularly if one or two teams get suspended from the competition or maybe an entire nation like English clubs in the 80's.

Apologies, I was under the impression that no longer a rumour implied it's a done deal.

Re: No longer a rumour - Pavel Pogrebnyak

Direct quotes from BM and NH = not a rumour. Are you suggesting sources are never misquoted in the press or taken out of context? If they can't get NH's name right then how are we to trust the rest of the contents? The signing may be happening, it may have happened with just the ceremonial fake con...

Re: A game of two halves

Why are the top 4 seeded? Do they not have a big enough squad of past and present players to avoid fixture congestion? Looks more like the newcomers and almost-relegated ones have to qualify Is this an existing quiz then? Are we late to the party? Did the top four finish in the top four quiz placin...

Re: The Premiership Fixture List 2012 - 2013

Avon Royal Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but could our game at Upton Park be the last ever game there?
Almost definitely the last ever premiership game there, whether they move or not.
