Re: BFTG Hull.

Probably going to get battered for saying it, but increasingly feels like Ejaria is a waste of a shirt. Yes, the show pony stuff makes for a great highlight reel, but it's getting difficult to see what he's actually contributing to this team that Adam or Olise couldn't in that both can actually pic...

Re: BFTG Hull.

It was a stupid game really: two below-par teams struggling for coherence. They should have scored within a minute and we kept giving them chances to run at our defence, especially in the first half, but we had them beaten. When Ejaria beat six players and rolled the ball onto the post, the last thi...

More importantly, how many must they lose to dip under 106 points?

Re: BFTG- Forest

Not only are these threads annoying and pointless but this thread was picked up by the Forest fans on their forum and is being shown as representative post for Reading fans and further evidence of how embarrassing a set of fans we are. You're embarassing us all ST P! Really? Can I just say how frus...

Re: BFTG - Forest

I really felt for Meite as well (our MotM?) who was booked for walking near a player but got kicked constantly in the second half. I didn’t go but the majority have rated him poorly. Out of interest why do you think he wasn’t just poor, he was the MOTM? Happy to say my bit for Meite. He was a real ...

Re: BFTG - Forest

They were good first half and then we were good for most of the second and it had been a good game. Then I blame the ref for letting the match fizzle out. The refereeing was as bad as I can remember. Maybe the ball hadn't gone out before the goal, but the officials had already got two such decisions...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Seems Arsenal fans are laughing at Spurs because Harry Winks might be off to City, despite the fact they've spent the last couple of years goading Spurs fans and saying he's shite. Football fandom really puzzles me... I like Harry Winks, tidy player. Needs to play a more advanced role though. He's ...

Re: BFTG QPR

I read from some reports we were under the cosh for 15-20 minutes at the end, must have been watching a different game to me, in normal time QPR hit the bar and Rafael saved with his head, apart from that we were nowhere near under the cosh for that long. we were hanging on in the 4 minutes added t...

Re: BFTG QPR

Yes he was. A constant threat. Thought he was poor throughout except for the odd bit of magic, cracking bit of skill for the chance where Morrison cleared off the line to be fair Over the two games, he’s no where near as good as QPR fans hype him up I really don’t understand. He was the best player...

Re: BFTG - Derby

It was good. We were never going to lose and deserved the 3-0 win. Adam was a world-beater for half an hour, and that was enough really. Joao was very good and Ejaria is the best player in the division. I suppose they all played well, including the subs. The highlights didn't show the Adams foul tha...

URZZZZ Can someone explain how Everton didn't get a penalty today when Alli handballed it? Thanks

No.i can’t.

I thought it came off an Everton arm before it hit the upraised arm of Dele Alli. VAR is shit, but the rule change meaning that handball by an attacker doesn't have to be deliberate is worse.

Re: BFTG Millwall

It seemed very normal. We had the better players and played better than Milwall so we won the game. Is that Bowen's influence? Just making the game seem sensible again. Things like playing your best midfielder and making sure you have enough defenders were beyond his more enigmatic predecessor. Rafa...

Could be 1-0 down. The pen was a red card as well, unless they have oxf*rd up the rules on that as well.

We had been playing so well...

Re: BFTG Preston (H)

It was a good win, especially as we made Preston look pretty dreadful. The best bits were when we passed the ball, like Gomez would have wanted, and the worst bits were Bowen's clueless goal kicks where everybody crowded over to the left, so I am agnostic on whether the change of manager has done an...

Re: Weekend Football

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49960000 New rule in action. Glentoran player gets a second yellow card, and a red, after ignoring the referee's request to leave the pitch at the nearest point when substituted. Good on the referee. Players need to show more respect and the new rules need to...

Re: BFT ???????????????????????????????????????????

You can blame all sorts of things - the goalie gave away two goals, Moore seems to have had as dramatic a loss of form as McShane did, the ref let Fulham make too many decisions, and Swift is an idiot - but that was piss poor from the manager. You can't just move from having three centre halves to t...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

He is our best striker and should be first choice. We knew that in the summer when we pissed away £12 million as well.
