Re: Summer Transfers

it'd be absolute carnage if the oppo had a decent right winger If Obita was fit and back to his best, then it could work reasonably well. However, wouldn't play Swift and Kelly, and 2 midgets up front might not be the best targets for the 2 wing backs to aim for It would mean Aluko would need to le...

Can play in net as well, I remember his heroics for United away at Tottenham a good while ago.

Re: Relegation Watch

I was making the point that even established Top Division clubs can end up in level four and there is no guarantee that they will come back Sunderland, Wednesday, Portsmouth have far more history, big fanbases etc But they've all eventually made their way back to at least the second tier, even Port...

Re: Rival Watch

Someone's already mentioned it but rotherham in the millmoor days, away end backed onto a scrapyard.

Ironically really enjoyed my last visit to the new stadium, had pints in a couple of good pubs.

Re: Relegation Watch

double d If we let that penalty in we conceded in the last minute and Barnsley didn't let a last min goal in at brizzle, we would be level with them on 40 points right now and in real danger.....

Orrr

Imagine if we hadn't conceded a 91st minute equaliser away at Barnsley earlier in the season.

Re: Relegation Watch

Although nothing for them to play for, Leeds never need any spice to get up for Yorkshire derbies, chance to put a nail in Barnsley's relegation coffin, the whole Heckingbottom fiasco added to that also.

I can easily see a Leeds win here.

Re: Relegation Watch

I bet Hull fans are kicking themselves at what might have been this season. Looks like they've clicked - consecutive 4-0 and 5-0 wins. I think they will be a force next season. Thought a few months ago that they looked on paper way too good to be where they were. Problem for them is they will be lo...

Re: Rival Watch

I’ve got (what now feels like) a measly 17/2 but can’t believe with our run in we are now 12/1 to go down after fluking a result against QPR, whilst other teams below us actually played really well and picked up point(s) against decent teams at the weekend. How do you know that teams below us “actu...

Re: Arriving to games late

Remember me and my dad arriving late in the car to Sheff United away on Tuesday night, couldn't find anywhere to park to make it worse. Heard a huge noise which signalled Sheff United going ahead, and just as we were outside the ground, a smaller noise for a Dave kitson equaliser. Can't even remembe...

Re: BFTG - Leeds

By chance ended up chatting to a Sunderland fan tonight in the pub, did offer some perspective, in their eyes their dead in the water with literally not one player to get behind, I reckon we’re just about better off, we have mo barrow, and points on the board

Stockport Royal How about we just concentrate on getting something out of Leeds and then see how we go?

Of course. Goes without saying.

(Like home to crappy Bolton, Barnsley, Burton...)

Nawty alliteration.

We're awful and in no position to refer to any other team in this league as 'crappy'

yep, despite it all, the atmosphere was great. You weren’t the fellah in shorts and hawaian shirt were you? Oh god no, I live in the North West so I'm quite accustomed to the cold and wet weather. Not that accustomed though! yeah, guessed that it could only be a Southerner  I was at this game,...

Re: Low away attendances

What about that Derby game where the snow meant that it was almost impossible to get to? I was at that game as I was at University in Derby at the time and it was easy enough to walk to Pride Park. That said I can't quite remember what the turnout was like, my over-riding memory was Shane Long scor...

Old Man Andrews Think I might go behind the home dugout for this one...................

Ok, I'll definitely book in the East stand in that case then

Good news for you about the attendance being low eh? Might actually have a spare 6 seats around you to fit your backside on.

Oh snap!

I remember West Brom beat Man City away years ago having not had a shot on target, thought we were on to match it!
