Re: Sheff Wed (H) Match Thread sponsored by Chrissy Waddle

GD +6 at the mo - level with Brum and one ahead of Preston with the rest nowhere.

Our Goals Scored is miles ahead of everyone except the Yam Yams who also have a GD of +12

Re: Sheff Wed (H) Match Thread sponsored by Chrissy Waddle

Isn't this so much better than leaking goals for fun in the Primmadonnaship?

And wondering where our next goal is going to come from?

Dave who?

Re: There's a message for some Reading fans in Ashley's words.

Ashley does come across as an onanist but, having said that, most of what he said in a very long statement was bang on the button.

Ashley and the Mad Man are soulmates.

At least the Mad Man isn't quite as much of a clown as Ashley and at least we will have a club in the future.

Re: Ipswich v Reading - Match thread

Kin L.... I'm flying back for the match next Saturday - think I'll stay in the pub in Bushey.... Having said that, I still think we have the team and the squad to get a play-off place this year. However, it's the gutless, spineless hoofball that we play away without any tempo or rythmn that really n...

Re: reasonable praise for our support

Ooooo, a few memory joggers here: The re-arranged 1-1 away at Stockport midweek was excellent. Geordie toe poking home and Adie out jumping Kevin Francis all night. Tranmere away in play-off semi. I trashed Parky who was sitting next to me when Nogs scored the first. The Taxi for Terry game - awful ...

Re: Bryn Back

Of course it will be great to have him back when he is fit. Bryn is a wise head and a solid pro who is there to do a specific job whatever is asked of him. He gives us several options and rarely lets us down. For energy and tempo there is Karacan, but if we want to spoil and frustrate and eke (sp?) ...

PS: What are the odds that she becomes big John's latest squeeze after Cilla?

Nah - it'll never happen. There must be FA or UEFA or FIFA rules against something like that. If not, they should be banged up for deviancy.

Re: £23 million In ... £1.4 million Spent

Sadly, I think it is time for the Mad Man to move on. The fear I have is who the feck would takeover. Don't want some dodgy Septic couple or an even dodgier Thai (allegedly). And Jennings the Butchers won't - ummm - cut the mustard, either. Need a brand like Virgin, or Orange or Porsche or Vodafone ...

Re: Sonko Tribute Thread

rfc58 - yes, I do. From the little I have seen of Pearce he's more than a match for Sonko. BK ditto for Ingi. We still have - on paper until SC has the gonads to stick 'em in the team - a great promotion winning team. Of all the outgoings over the summer, it's Little and Kitson we miss most. Definit...

Cheerio, Sonks - 2.5 million and we're having a laugh.

Oh well, that confirms Stoke's relegation... :-)

Don't think BK will play this week - just back from Olympics and off next week with Cameroon again.... Great business. And I won't be weeping when Harper and Doyle go, either.

Just need two CMs now to cover Jem and the Bouncing Cheque (sic).

And a right back.

And a wise old pro centre forward.

oh god, where to start.... as a dyed in the wool RTG with a realistic view of life things must be bad. Rosenior - total incompetence. Nothing he has ever done has given me any confidence in him.
