Re: Pitch

The good thing with our pitch is it does recover quickly, but this is very early for the pitch to suffer, so the groundsman will have his work cut out in his first winter in charge.

Re: Team for Huddersfield (A) FA cup

Strongest team possible in the FA Cup, for me! HRK never a striker. Either out wide or just behind, but not a striker, and not a lone striker either. He's far too powderpuff.

Re: 2015 January Transfer Window

Priority has to be LB (sounds sorted, albeit a bit of a punt), and a Striker. We don't have a lot of money, so expecting much more may be a little wishful.

Re: Jure Travner to sign

Thing is, Obita is still okay at LB. As a Left winger, which is supposedly his actual position, he has had a bit of a shit season so far. If this bloke comes in and simply provides competition for Obita then I suppose this is reason enough. But for me, I think we need to strengthen elsewhere before...

Re: BFTG Norwich,

Wasn't there, but that's the LOL of the season at Neil Adams for stating his team shouldn't have been losing to a team like Reading, then a few weeks later we play them off the park and spank them again! He must be feeling quite a kunt this weekend.

Re: Huddersfield FAC prediction thread

Pressure off, a reinvigorated group of players, with the confidence of a win at the weekend. I think we'll lose, obviously.

I'll start the bidding as this will heat up pretty quickly.

£2.33 and a packet of spicy nik naks, and I'll go halves on the postage.

Re: Drenthe - Would you have him back???

Lots of talk on here and other forums about whether we should or shouldn't give Drenthe another go here. What do you think? Personally i'd give him another go. Can't be much worse than Blackman or HRK. Yeah, let's totally ignore how disruptive he is on and off the pitch. http://www.reactiongifs.com...

Re: Steve Clarke

Thought he came across very well in the presser. He obviously knows there wont be much to play with in January, so loans will probably be key, which is where his contacts will pay dividends. Hopefully he'll bring the group together, shake them up a bit and get them motivated again.

BritInBigD Baggies fan here.

His positon as Head Coach was increasingly undermined by internal club politics and his departure became inevitable.

Re: Steve Clarke

That's not a bad win % considering it's WBA in the PL... We know how tough it is. It's almost two different leagues in terms of quality. He has a lot to prove, but that's exactly what we want!

Re: Steve Clarke

Speak to West Brom fans about his time there. Even with a good league placing they were not impressed with him. Yeah, underwhelmed. Yeah, know a West Brom fan from another forum, and although I thought his sacking was harsh he was adamant it was the right decision and ISTR him saying that he wasn't...
