It looked at one moment from where I sat that the entire Sheff Utd bench had been sent to the stands.

Would such a suspension apply to a non-competitive reserve game though (were it to be the case, of course)?

This week all Murts had time for was to answer the question as to who farts the most as apparently Hunty had managed to empty a post match press conference after dropping his guts. Karen got more time talking about dancing.

A couple of kids behind me were trying to give the Do Do Do - Adam Federici (to the tune of the Black Lace "Conga" abomination) a good go. No one else was joining in though. I HATE those b*stard kids. Especially the ugly blonde one who takes his top off after we score so we can all see wh...

Gordons Cumming It seems Hoddle's attitude him at Wolves was spot on.
Can we have that with the missing words re-instated, please?

Was very unlucky not to score in the first few minutes when he hit a post. Shame it didn't go in as it would have given him a lot of confidence which he looked slightly lacking in the rest of the first half.

An odd performance really. Individually I thought there were some good displays. The problem was that we didn't look like a team, which is perhaps understandable. I thought Sodje was OK - he certainly looks far more comfortable with the ball at his feet than Sonks ever does. Bikey really wanted to g...

Stooper
Platypuss True. I am ashamed that it was Reading fans who gave him the nickname "Useless".

It was Aston Villa actually.
I think that deserves a whoosh - but I'll leave it to the author to do the honours.

There were complaints on 606 from Burnley supporters that tickets were still being sold at 2.50 with no warning that there was a good chance the match wasn't going ahead. The ticket office then refused them a refund saying that they had to apply to Burnley. I heard on the bus that the match had been...

My first ever visit to the Mad Stad was to see the game against Yeovil. Got soaked as I made the mistake of sitting too near the pitch & had to progressively make my way further back up the North Stand to find a dry seat as the wind got stronger throughout the game. At least we won that.

3) And we should remember what happened to Ipswich when they got into Europe at the end of their first season back in the top flight.

Definitely agree about Tyson. He could have been a legend here if he'd had a little more patience. I read this morning he should be coming back from injury to play for Forest tonight - I hope all goes well for him.

I have always been a big fan of Jamie Curo' always thought he left too soon, would have been interesting to see him in the prem line up, my only doubts about him are he is an instinctive goal scorer and uncertain as to whether his general work rate would have been high enough at this level, however...

Tony Le Mesmer David Byrne played for us on loan in 91/92. He was pretty useful.

Appointed Assistant to Sturrock today at Swindon.
Must have been very useful to combine playing with fronting Talking Heads. Wondered why he isn't making so much music these days.
