Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (h) sponsored by Andy Legg & Jason Bowen

Looked pretty good even after going down a man. But ultimately the game had no meaning and the desire to just end this season > pride with ending on a positive note I suppose.

On the positives, Olise did end the season on a high note (albeit without the W).

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by Chris Rea

Too many wayward passes and dilly-dallying on the ball. Even having missed a couple of months of sport, given that the next season will be upon us soon, I'm ready for this one to end.

ugh! just horrible to watch. Obita not having a great game but we don't have much in terms of someone to receive his crosses either.

And more comedy from Get Reading:

“Moore 5

Was on free-kick duty and twice had a go from outside the area but hit the ball with both efforts. Looked a little nervy when passing the ball around the back.”

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a) sponsored by a long trek up north

From Get Reading:

“A late George Puscas completed a remarkable turnaround for Reading as they saw off fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic 3-1 at the DW Stadium.”

Tragic, yet amazing . A deceased Puscas finished off his hat trick.

Re: BFTT - QPR (A)

Enjoyable game and the first half gives good confidence that we'll be ok. Nice to see fast, fluid attacking from all areas Only downside was sitting in the pub and occasionally getting confused as to which team was which  I`m with you on that one, got confused a few times too. Funny! Same thi...

Re: BFTT

Just back Surprised to see a comment about Miazga. Didn't see the incident myself, presume it must have been at the fakies end. He was probably pissed off with the lack of support from the ref, who gave the fakes everything all night. The ironic cheers when we actually got a decision tells you all ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (a) sponsored by an Ingimarsson header

Impressed all around. I loved the harrying and pressing - never really gave them much room. Far cry from the laid-back approach of giving the opponent their complete half of the pitch. Liked the idea of trying to build-out from the back, but not force it. McCleary must be on PEDs because he was quic...

Re: GOMES OUT!

Just read Gomes parting message. Argue all you like regarding manager credentials and ability, but he oozes class. All the BS he had to deal with regarding the dead-weight, the morale, and the embargo, etc. and he gets 10 months. I remember him saying one of the first things he did was to ban smart ...

Re: BFT ???????????????????????????????????????????

We have employed a third successive manager who wants us to play out from the back when we don’t have the personnel to do it. Rafael is a poor distributor of the ball. None of our defenders last night are good passers of the ball. They are so slow at moving the ball forward. The problem is then com...

Re: BFT ???????????????????????????????????????????

FiNeRaIn Very good second half performance, 1-1 with 10 men, defense solid. Never looked like losing. Roll on Bristol city!!

This. Now we only need to petition the league to allocate points based upon halves and not the entire match. :)

Re: BFTG Swansea Away

First 25min or so we were just horrible. The remainder we were average to good but still could not make that incisive move to get a goal until the dying stages. I think Barrett should start as he provided the energy and spark we needed and has a nice final ball unlike Boyet. Overall I can enjoy my p...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a) sponsored by Andy Legg & Jason Bowen

So when do we start blaming the management rather than the players? Would suggest we have players with the technical ability to at least be comfortable in this division but after an initial burst why are they now such an utter shambles on the pitch? The management does look at fault. But it's still...

Re: Gomes, should he stay or should he go - poll

In. I think it's a combination of working-in new players and man management. Gomes has already shown he can man-manage. It sort of feels that the club are having a bit of HRK Syndrome - we did well against perceived strong sides (two sides in the PL last season and Brom) and not so well against perc...
