Re: Back From The Cardiff Game.

Percy's Rocket As testified by 55 goals in 120 games (Kitson)

Ktson was great. I though Boothroyd looked slow, overweight and probably having his last few games at this level.

Percy's Rocket [quote="Victor Meldrew"
One interesting aspect of the game was a decent display by Bothroyd in the art of holding up the ball and giving time for others to join in-there surely must be somebody out there who could bring that to our game when our hectic and occasionally hit-and-hope game fails.

I second that ................The name Kitson springs to mind.[/quote]

Re: REFWATCH - Cardiff City (H) - BOXING DAY 15:00

I thought the ref did brilliantly. It was a stirring game and both teams were still attacking ferociously in the last few minutes. That wouldn't have been the case if he sent off Noel Hunt and Chopra in the first half like some refs might have.

Wayne oxf*rd?

Get Coppell and Madejski our as well. It is just a sign of their lack of ambition that we haven't got Jaidi, Quashie, Jerome, etc in our team

Re: 2nd place and climbing

I expected 7th, but wanted to enjoy the season. There was no point turning up and expecting the bad form of last season to instantly switch over to free-flowing football and big victories. Luckily it did (at least at home) and I now feel we can go up. This year is the best chance we are going to get...

Re: Lita for Norwich

£300,000 seemed quite cheap to me as well, but anything now is better than nothing in the summer.

Is there anything in it for Lita to go now for a fee? Could he get a better deal in the summer after a free transfer?

Re: Actim Index

So what more from a winger other than goals and assists do you want exactly? I want him to start beating the first man on his crosses more regularly! Then we'd walk this division. Hunt puts in 1 good cross in 4. Glen Little used to put in 9 good crosses in 10. Unfortunately the stats don't take thi...

Re: RFC or Country?

Tbh it's most nations that have an RFC player > England Let alone RFC itself. I have to agree with you there. I always look out for the result if there is a Reading player playing. Republic of Ireland is a difficult one. I am obviously always delighted if they lose badly, but it is good as well if ...

Re: Is Coppell's loyalty to players now a major concern?

and Fozzy was miles better then Doyle or Kitson or Lita or Long What a player Kitson is a much, much better all round player than Forster ever was. Much better team player and a better strike rate, achieved at a consistantly higher level as well. Arguably the same can be said about Doyle too. If he...

Re: FREE SCARF! (For Season Ticket Holders Only)

Why be cynical about it? You don't have to pick yours up if you don't want one. Newcastle fans were given free scarves about a season or so back and they looked quite impressive when twirled around en masse. Bollocks. They looked gayer than the Village People bumming each other on the way to a Juli...

Re: BIG NEWS!!Stephen Hunt!!!

Good news! I hope he stays and plays like he did in December 2007. I think this would probably go either in unfounded rumour and gossip or on the team board. Definitely not here, KFOAE. Shouldn't this go in the blatant bullshit section? When I was little people used to make up stories and claim the...
