Re: BFTG - Barnsley (H)

Now any time the ball hits a hand in the penalty box it's a foul, regardless of whether a player has any ability to avoid the ball, regardless of whether the hand was in a natural position, regardless of the direction the ball was travelling and regardless of who previously touched the ball. Unfort...

Re: BFTG - Barnsley (H)

windermereROYAL Didn`t see a single Barnsley player appeal for it, they looked as surprised as most of us when it was given.

I didn't either but watching the replay maybe only Kane appealed although he could have been holding his hands up for a cross as he wouldn't of had a good view of Bindon.

Re: BFTG - Barnsley (H)

My one gripe with the handball penalty is that the ball comes back onto Bindon's arm from a Smith headed clearance from behind him and at close range, and drops straight to a Barnsley player who shoots on target and the ricochet hits the post. Essentially we've been penalised for an offence Bindon ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

leon Utter shit as per usual. Barnsley were pretty poor so we decided to crumble second half. Mentally weak and moronic tactically again.

Selles fcuk off.

+1
That was never a 1-3 loss, but I have to mention the utterly shit ref that fell for all of Barnsleys fall over fouls.

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

100% agree. This is exactly the problem. Dai has thrown money at us and expected to recoup it with promotion to the premier league which we didn't achieve. Now he has lost interest now we're in league one. The man is an avid gambler. The few bob he's lost won't matter lots to him, but we're as fans...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

I've no idea the figures involved, but I find it far fetched that he would turn down £30m or so and let everything burn because some fans weren't nice to him. Maybe not, but if you've lost £200m or £170m would it matter to him? Would you gamble the entire club on that? There's also the FA, we've al...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

There are real world consequences to his procrastination, but there are worse real world consequences if we piss him off to the extent that he walks away. He could end the club just to piss off the bleating twitterati with tennis balls if he wanted. As I said stamping your feet and shouting pay up, ...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

I think fans need to be careful about any protest. We are asking a benefactor to give the club more money, the same one that has spent £200m already. I don't think shouting at him to pay up is helpful. He's rich enough to just walk away and end the club - as he's shown with his other clubs - given t...

Blackpool v Sheffield Wed got abandoned at half time after a fan invasion of the pitch. It was the last game of the season so they got off lightly with punishment, at the time I was sorry for the Wednesday fans treking over to see their team.

They may well avoid a deduction for this move, but will most likely get one for the repeated unpaid tax.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (h)

You'd have to be some sort of heartless weirdo to not enjoy the reaction from Azeez after he notched last night, lovely stuff I feel vindicated from refraining any motivational booing when he was subbed at Shrewsbury and walked sheepishly past the away fans clapping - despite being shit and missing...

And you need to get a rail replacement bus from Winchester to Southampton Parkway or Eastleigh. https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/engineering-works/winchester-and-southampton-central-20231203/ This is really bad planning. Trains will not call at Southampton Airport Parkway. If you are travelling to / ...

Gutted I'm in the second category now they wiped 20 years of points despite doing most games away this year. Payback for not doing too many aways last season when we were equally shit.

Re: BTFG Shrewsbury

Royalwaster Disallowed goal was offside - was going in anyway I think but Azeez touched it in from an offside position.

I thought it must of been that, so as well as fluffing a great chance, he actually lost us a goal. It wasn't his day - again.

Re: BTFG Shrewsbury

Wow, this one hurts, i really don't know where to begin. After 15mins we were so superior and they were so poor i really couldn't see anything other than a 3-4 goal win!! then Azeez just needed to hit the ball first time and its game set and match....i mean, really, what was he thinking, so so poor...

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Interesting article, but what jumped out at me was that Maquire fella saying it would be a 12 point deduction if we go in to administration but could be another 15 points when we come out of it. That would almost certainly mean national league. That is only if as part of coming out of admin - debts...

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Have noticed quite a few people coalescing around the idea that going into administration could be an outcome, although bad for minor creditors and points deduction, may be the only way in the short term to preserve EFL status. If the theory that Ashley is awaiting that outcome he then moves in and...
