Re: Most important goal in our history?

Doyle's goal at Leicester isn't even the most important goal that season. Murty's last game penalty to score his first goal in years vs QPR got us the points record. Brynjar's brace v Sheffield basically cemented our dominance over the division and set the stall for leading pretty much the entire wa...

Re: Relegation Run Ins

We need a point at Coventry because lets face it everyone expects QPR to lose at Burnley, if both these results happen beating Wigan and Huddersfield will guarantee our survival We've barely won a game this year, beating both Wigan and Huddersfield back to back is very unlikely. I also can't rememb...

Re: BFTG - Luton

Fully agree about Hendrick. Also showed a great deal of intelligence and experience after picking up an early yellow card. Managed to get in lots of key challenges (even if some were merely to slightly nick the ball away or hinder a run), particularly when we were down to 10 men, without ever riski...

Re: Academy Graduates Championship Squad

Is Alex Pearce still playing, always thought he could be a premier league playrr, albeit a slow one, a bit like say James Tomkins or Rob Holding? Anyone remember Simon Church? Pierce Sweeney is I think playing for Exeter , Sean (not Shane ) Long at Oxford, Niall Keown, Aaron Kuhl, Jake Taylor? Not ...

Re: Academy Graduates Championship Squad

Supplement the attacking midfielders with Tarique Fosu-Henry. Already listed as a left winger. Personally didn’t think MacDonald was worth mentioning compared to the other centre backs, especially with Holmes and McIntyre already missing out. Other options - Shandon Baptiste for a wide spot and our...

Re: BFTG - Luton

Lumley - 7 I guess, I think a good save and some good commanding of his area but didn’t get enough on the cross for the goal and then had no idea where the ball went. Yiadom - 7 good solid Yiadom of old performance Holmes - 7 put in a lot of good work Sarr - 7 one of his better games for sure Guine...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Who are those divs that sit in the south stand? Used to be the away end didn't it? Do we just stick all the remedial shitmunchers of Reading in there to give the city centre a rest every now and then? club 1871 less said about them the better, just needs to end and a tad embarrassing and fake for m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

That utterly dreadful home performance against the fakes may well cost Reading this season. That was particularly crap but in reality almost every game Ince was manager would be to blame if we do go down. It's realistically the decision to put all our eggs in one basket and bank on selling Puscas t...

Re: Relegation Run Ins

Silver Fox I know it's the done thing on here to say that we've got no chance of ever getting another draw, let alone a win while our rivals will all of a sudden go on a 4 game winning streak but seriously, can anyone see QPR getting another point?

Sadly, this didn't age very well.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Let's be honest, that's two more points from these two games than anyone expected and Hunt is unbeaten in charge. Results not great for us elsewhere and a real shame we couldn't hold on, but it wasn't particularly likely we would hold on at 1-0 with 11 on the pitch let alone 10. I like what Noel is...

Missed the game. Read the match thread. Good result. Ratings please someone. Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Hendrick just hid from being on for a pass from Yiadom, then got in his way and tried to avoid being involved.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Potential is there, but too many players are making poor decisions and passes. Holmes, Sarr, NGW, Fornah, Azeez, Casadei. Hendrick not involved enough to be included in that. No understanding. I guess it makes some sense, they're trying to play actual football that Ince refused to allow and they're ...

Pepe the Horseman Our left hand side is looking poor.

Nesta is involved as you'd want but he's getting everything wrong at the moment.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Azeez is looking very sluggish and unfocused. Took a knock early on that seemed to trouble him, but he's not alert to things he should be and is getting pushed off the ball and can't get his passes away.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Great move, great ball Azeez, Joao, flick and Carroll should score.
