Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Indeed. Under the xG model Greece don’t win Euro 2004 Wigan don’t win FA Cup in 2013 Leicester don’t win PL in 2016 Portugal don’t win Euro 2016 and so on... It is just a mathematical variation of ‘on paper, their squad is the strongest in the league.’ On the xG model Liverpool would have finished ...

Re: Rival Watch

How many oxf*rd points clear do we need to be before they'll show more than a 30 second snippet. Bunch of absolute dognonces on Quest. Can't be worse than ITV's old show. The day we set the 106 record and lifted the trophy, we got 30 seconds and they did extended highlights of Southend! BBC led by ...

Re: Rival Watch

Wednesday night show always has more highlights of the Wednesday games and shows them first, presumably because everyone's had a decent shot at seeing the Tuesday highlights already. They actually finally positioned our highlights correctly as first of the Tuesday games. Plus, as mentioned they wer...

Current Reading connections at Coventry

Reading are one of only 2 clubs, out of 13 that Mark Robins played for, for whom he failed to score a goal.

Dominic Hyam, released by Reading in 2017, is 12 appearances off of completing 100 league appearances.

SouthDownsRoyal
WoodleyRoyal Brighton north stand chat

I hope they fall away. No doubt some of their nobhead fans are already wondering how to reword their poncy 'record' chant.

Brighton :| yawn

At least we’ve got a record to have a chant about.

Hound
Millsy Unrelated question sorry guys. How does Laurent pronounce his name? He sounds quite English to me so isn't it just Lorrent instead of Loron?
Is that just a Dellorisation ?

did wonder the same. He's from Leytonstone, not Paris. I'm guessing its 'Lorrent'

I’ll just stick with Josh

Meite took a heavy knock last night and is a slight doubt for this one. Ejaria is expected to return after being rested following muscle fatigue from the Rotherham game.

All games will be tough, we all know that. Like the team just forget about all but the next game. That said Reading’s next 6 games are going to be about as hard as it gets.

Re: What has changed so much from last season?

Always was a talented and very capable squad just lacking confidence, organisation and what must have been belief in what the manager was trying to do. Bowen steadied things and manage to get flashes of what the squad was capable but couldn’t maintain things long enough (losing Joao wasn’t at all he...

Jokull Anderson gone on loan to Exeter for 7 days as an emergency loan And naturally starts against Orient. Because Exeter have no fit goalkeepers. Jokull conceded in the 4th minute (not at fault, just crap defending from those in front of him) but then kept a “clean sheet” as Exter drew 1-1 at Ori...

Re: Season 20/21

Not sure if it’s been mentioned anywhere but Meite scoring after 7 seconds was the fastest goal Reading have ever scored.

Previous fastest was Kebe v WBA (9 secs) and before that Mark White v York (12 secs)

Thought we were in trouble when they got back to three two.We seemed out on our feet. Then a bit of Jao magic again . Rafa 7 Couple of great saves.Nearly got caught out with his delay over clearances. Esteve 7 Generally good. Moore 7 Bit static on their goals, but Blackburn are pretty sharp up front....
