Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by Brynjar Gunnarsson

You will watch it and be engaged in the action. I'll be asking questions relating to the game afterwards. If we play five up front I’ll watch. Get it sorted OMA. Doing all I can to make it happen. Slightly worried about the fact we don't have 5 fit strikers. Seemingly Liam Moore can play anywhere s...

Re: BFI Follow Middlesborough

Just looked the stats up. If we lose to Swans that'll be 12 home defeats in a season - a new club record. We've lost 30 home games in the last three seasons. We've lost 10+ home games in three of the last six seasons. In the 1930s we lost just 10 home games in seven seasons FFS. If Elm Park was a f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by Chris Rea

Another tediously dreadful home performance. They really need to insert some excitement into home games as there’s naff all worth watching at the moment. Issue is the club just aren’t good enough going forward and desperately need a revamp from somewhere

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by Chris Rea

skipper I didn't get back in time to get this on the telebox, but we seemed to start bright, and have now faded.

Is it backs to the wall again, like Charlton?

It’s a home game so you should know the format by now. Bright start for 5 minutes then start defending the 0-0 and hope for a breakaway.

tidus_mi2 We got 1 point off Hull this season.

Be fair, Reading did hold on to their lead for a good half an hour in the home game.

When do you think Reading will start defending the 1-0? Immediately or not until the second half?

Sutekh Same old story so far.

If anyone has a clue how to turn around these dreadful home performances Reading persistently present, please get in touch with Mark Bowen asap.

Liam Moore! Will that shut the naysayers up?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by Chris Rea

No change to the system. CDM will be a key part of the jigsaw in the summer transfer window. Pele has slight hamstring problem. Charlie Adam also has a minor niggle therefore Liam Moore is expected to play the DM role as there is no way you should change the back 4 given 3 clean sheets in 3 games. ...

Starting XI

Reading: Rafael, Blackett, Osho, Morrison, McIntyre, Moore (c), Rinomhota, Swift, Olise, Méïté, Pușcaș.
Subs: Walker, Gunter, Miazga, Baldock, Obita, McCleary, Boyé, Masika, Richards.

Moore only change, back in for the injured Pele.

Re: Who is your favourite RFC broadcaster of all time?

No problem with Tim, he’s worth listening to and ignoring in equal measure but at least he cares about the club and that’s what you want from your local journos.

Re: Player of the Season

Generally agree, IMO, this second half of the season has not been good for anyone but the youngsters - Olise, McIntyre and now Osho as well.

Meite is possibly the most consistent over the whole season but I stand by my three nominations.

Quote from Neil Warnock: "George Puscas I was looking at when I signed Robert Glatzel for Cardiff - he was my second choice actually." Who would you rather - Puscas or Glatzel? Puscas. Glatzel hasn’t exactly over performed either with 8 goals in 30 appearances plus I think he’s a couple o...

Re: Rumour - Rob Dickie

The wage bill will fall. McCleary, Gunter, Poland, Mannone and most likely Barrow leaving will ensure that. I guess the main difference with FFP wiggle room will be in transfer fees. Dickie is a good example. He's captained Oxford to the play off final and could well command a decent fee. Under nor...
