Re: BFTG Brentford

... Barrow: 7 - usual Barrow performance. Dangerous, missing a final ball ... Take a point off Barrow for being responsible for their goal. was crying out for a first time strike at the back post instead of farting around and getting blocked out. 20 seconds later we were behind. are you ser...

Re: BFTG ‘Ull (A)

Wolves were excellent, no doubts about that. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves They were the best team we have played all season but I still wasn't overly impressed with them, especially their defense . We matched them blow for blow for the majority of that game and were unlucky to co...

Re: BFTG ‘Ull (A)

In terms of quality I'm actually one of those that think the overall quality of the league has improved in the last half decade, and will keep improving imho - it's only logical. There's definitely been a switch toward more possession rather than 'play in the right areas' which is probably a result...

Re: BFTG ‘Ull (A)
We were shocking but made to look somewhat better because of the utterly incompetent Hull.
Starting to think that some believe there is incompetence in this league from top to bottom. Even when we played Wolves...'they ain't all that'...and Cardiff...'they are not ...

Re: Back from the game Stevenage

Blackett's ideal position. LCB (3 at the back) > CB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LB Have been saying it for donkeys. ] its not exactly a new or visionary opinion to have tbf. was pretty obvious last year, where him and Obita made a good left side I think he could do it in a 2...

Re: Back from the game Stevenage

There were definitely positives last night. I was sat behind the dugout for the first time in Stam's era and got to see him communicating with the players etc. I think he might be as frustrated as we are with some of the players based on his reactions. I purposely did this a few times last season w...

He's also useful defensively, especially in the box for set pieces but does more than his fair share of harrying opposition defenders and the odd tactical foul to stop attacks

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

Yeh I hope he is asked about that after the game Watch the replay on Sky and see how many interceptions/blocks/defensive headers Kermie makes after he is switched. You can't really argue it was a successful ploy We gave away a two goal lead, or one goal when that change was made Last year it seemed...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

I can't respect someone who repeatedly and IMO (and that of many others, including those in the game) very deliberately gets his players to target skillful opposing players and injure them in order to put them out of the game. He also adopts unacceptably intimidating tactics to try to influence mat...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Doubt any of those first Teamers will be started Monday then Bit of a disappointing performance in many ways, although Bayern were very good and losing to what should be the cream of young German talent. In the first half especially Bayern played at pace and pressed us very hard and we simply could...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Barrow now has scored roughly 25% of his total shots. Hes a bit of a legend. Keep up this form please. Given the quality of those chance that really should be upwards of 33% Having said that I really like Barrow and he's one of the players that make us tick. It's no coincidence that our form has pi...

tidus_mi2 lol the Sunderland fans on their forum are wound up that Gooding is not even hiding his Geordie, Anti-Sunderland bias.

Why should he, other BBC regions are very biased towards their local teams

Re: Injury watch 2017-18 season

Odd if the plan was for Watson was to play 30 mins and McIntyre 60 mins they didn't switch them round with Watson coming off the bench instead. Watson only playing half an hour does suggest even more that he's come back slightly ahead of schedule. Not necessarily that odd - better to start someone ...

Re: BFTG Barnsley.

To me, last night's performance was pretty much a copy of Saturday with the obvious exception being that we managed to put the ball in the net this time. Contrary to many views, I didn't think that Barnsley necessarily sat deep, rather In the 1st half they didn't press together and so we were able t...

Re: 9 games to the New Year

Presuming Bod didn't start as he has only just come back from an injury. Worst thing to do would be to do too much too soon and be out for another month I'm assuming Stam wouldn't make the mistake of playing 3 wingers up front again if Yann or Bod were fit to start. As for Hugill. Higher wages. Sim...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

What surprised me yesterday was the size of the crowd- the U23`s or youth cup ties have never pulled in a crowd that size. It wasn`t as if the club really pushed the match on the website- nothing that I saw as a preview yesterday. Well they were doing overtime on twitter about it with numerous ment...

Best players for the Royals in the 1st half are the 4 Williams and the 8 - a female Liam Kelly H-T 0-0 Live stream on facebook. poor quality as you would expect from ladies football. Did you mean the quality of the stream or the football? Probably the latter given the whole sentence but you have ac...
