Re: The Non - League thread

Royal Rother How many did Blackie score?

The honest answer is I don’t know! I had my head in my hands after most of the goals.

Re: The Non - League thread

Burnham 0-6 Brimscombe. Burnham struggled to get a keeper for this and bought back in a player they let go earlier in the season as he wasn’t rated. After today he will be rated even lower, he was poor and probably at fault for 5 of them. The other goal was superb and I don’t expect to see a better ...

Re: The Non - League thread

As previously mentioned Bracknell have a 3G pitch. I’m not sure how much they cost but they have football on there most of the time now. I think Slough to make big revenue on theirs although I believe they are expensive to hire.

AthleticoSpizz ....nobody really dislikes Man U
.....just like nobody is particularly bothered about Chelsea nowadays

Think people just enjoy Jose’s demise....cannot work out why, mind.

I neither like or dislike Man Utd but, Jose is a Cnut!

Re: Rumour - Chris Martin

Can’t see what we have over Sunderland. Personally I don’t think he’d go to us if he doesn’t want to join Sunderland... We may be having a bad season, Sunderland are an absolute basketcase of a club. When you have fans calling for Coleman to leave, to save his own reputation, it gives you an idea o...

Royal Rother I wonder how long it will be before Sánchez has most of his flair Mourinhod out of him.

He would have fitted in well with Pep but it is never going to work at Utd.

And £350k pw?

Yep, he’ll end up as a wing back.

So who were all those saying he's 'bambi on ice' then? Was that Stam, too?

You tell us who they were then. You seem to have all the answers.

Re: The Non - League thread

Are Thatcham up to and prepared for promotion these days? Seem to remember them voluntarily dropping out of the “competitive” leagues not so long ago. Glad to hear that they are doing well, must make effort to visit Waterside one day. I’m not the man to ask whether they’re prepared or not off the p...

Re: The Non - League thread

Dipped my toe in the non-league water today Brackley v Barrow No goals but very lively attacking football with plenty of incident Forgot what this was like!! And no faking injury or diving! There are a couple of Brackley players who look to me as if they could make it as pros One maybe too small an...

Re: The Non - League thread

Burnham deducted 3pts for playing Ziel Browne against Lydney in early December. I did mention in an earlier post about ringers playing for Burnham in place of signed on players. They really didn’t need this, but it is of their own making. Couldn't a 3 point deduction for using a ringer actually be ...

leon And I don't get this constant criticism of Gunter - yes he's got his faults but if he was Bergomi he'd be playing for INTER.

Sorry!

Same City

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

I don’t get all this booing of players although if you want to boo that’s fine by me. For me to boo, it would have to be for players not trying and I can’t think of any that haven’t really put it in during a game. If a player is shit that’s not his fault that’s down to the boss putting him in. Somet...

Re: Could Stam be contracted to his current style of play?

Barcelona are culturally "Dutch". Their style of play comes from Rinus Michels and Johan Cruyff. Guardiola took it to Bayern and won everything, now he's taken it to Man City and is probably going to win everything. The Spanish national team copied it and won three consecutive major title...
