Re: Royston worst ever Reading signing?

I nominate Les Ferdinand as one of our worst signings

1 goal in 12 is comparable with drenthe's 2 in 23.

I also believe his impact off the field was similar to drenthe's

Re: Tax doesn't need to be taxing.....

You need 75% of you creditors to agree a CVA In Pompy's case I am guessing that the revenue was not 25% of the creditor pool so they were forced to tae what they could get With a £31M debt and a £3M tax bill then again the revenue could not themselves reject the CVA. Would we play roulette with our ...

Re: Premier League 'B' Teams to join Pyramid?

This idea is just horrendous. Would ruin the football league completely. Surely they will recognise that most football fans are completely against this? depends who you count as "most football fans" I imagine the TV rights for League 1 and league 2 would suddenly become a lot more attract...

this... he should have parked the bus at 3-1

at 3-2 he should have parked another bus in front of the first bus and made sure of his 3 points

Points on the board better than games in hand

Re: Countries You Have Watched A Football Match In

Ouroboros I once saw a game in Berwick on Boxing Day - anything to get out of my grandparents' house. It was about 2 degrees outside. It finished Berwick 0-0 Montrose.

Absolutely awful.

So you watched a game in England then?

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

They might wait till after the Birmingham Wigan game as it affects play off and relegation options.

I am hoping SKY might show two games on the final day, I think they sometimes do.

Re: Play offs watch

Stringing a run of wins together is not really something we have managed yet this season

We have not won 3 games in a row all season and as far as I can see work out we have only one 2 in a row once, when we beat Blackpool at home followed by Millwall away.

Re: Why are buyers interested but don't put up the money?

Perhaps its because Sir John does want to see us do a Cardiff or a Hull or a Portsmouth

Wants to make sure he sells to someone who has the best interests of the club at heart, not some who is going to riddle us with debt and then run

ah the good of days of the early 1980s where we played quality football 1982 /83 season, despite having the top goalscorer in Division 3( Kerry Dixon), we lost our relegation battle with the mighty Exeter and Orient The following season was much better in Div 4 though, top goalscorer (Trevor Senior)...
