Re: Flat reading fans!

The Cap Watching the Celtic match on the box. Blimey, what a racket they make. Can't we borrow them? Even if it's for just one game.

What a racket they make for the big games, like Reading, like everyone else.. Their ground is half empty every other game, and usually pretty quiet.

Re: Barnsley Match Thread - Sponsored by Injury Lawyers For

Apparently Bridge's Mrs is due to give birth any time now, and that 'could' be the reason behind his absence.

Zingarevich, McCleary and Bridge all having children in recent weeks. Clearly retaining possession of the ball is not a problem.

Barnsley Match Thread - Sponsored by Injury Lawyers For You

McCarthy, Gunter, Kelly, Morrison (c), Pearce, Guthrie, Baird, McCleary, Robson-Kanu, Le Fondre, Pogrebnyak. Bench: Federici, Cummings, Gorkss, Akpan, McAnuff, Obita, Sharp Looks like Bridge's injury is still a problem and is playing through it where possible. We really do need a LB on loan to cover...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

He'll get the season unless they seriously struggle to make top 6. Sacking him would be spitting on Fergie's legacy, something even the Glazers wouldn't be stupid enough to do. You say that, but with the interest payments United have to meet annualy, they can't afford to miss a season in the Champi...

Re: TSI - The Promises, Policies & Progress Thread

Someone said earlier using completely made up facts, that someone behind TSI finds it better for tax reasons to wait for the next quarter or something. Which would be now... We'll all know if there's a problem or not within a month or two. No point flapping when there's nothing definite to flap abo...

Re: TSI - The Promises, Policies & Progress Thread

Re: the last game Anton attended - Oman. But he's since become a father, and as mentioned, we already know he can't be here for every game due to his visa. I guess we'll know in the coming months if something is up, but I really don't think it's worth constantly trying to read into things and lookin...

Re: TSI - The Promises, Policies & Progress Thread

Anton's lack of appearances is most likely down to his visa, isn't it? He can only spend so much time over here, and he's just become a father. I wouldn't read too much into that. I would imagine it is something like this. Anton doesn't really have a tax presence in the country anyway, TSI is in gi...

Re: Flat reading fans!

We will never have an atmosphere as there are not enough fans who actually are bothered in attempting to create ones. Those that are sit too far from each other to get anything going Even those of us in Y25/26 don't all sing. Apart from big games when they're up for it, we probably have 1000 out of...

Re: Flat reading fans!

That song they were singing... "all we need is whisky and gin(?)" that would be ideal. Sounded great, could keep that going, it's loud as well. Get a few like that in our locker and more will join in.

Re: Team for Barnsley (A)

I'd go with the same as Sat but Kelly for Gunter & Sharp for Alfie. May as well keep some legs fresh for Burnley... This Why swap Gunter for Kelly when Adkins likes offensive wing-backs? You lose that with Kelly. I also don't understand the dropping of Le Fondre either when he's pretty similar ...

Re: Flat reading fans!

The first few games at home the atmosphere was better than usual. The tempo of the game yesterday was slow, and it transferred to the fans. Neither the team or the fans got out of second gear. We can be a lot louder and a lot more consistent, but our reluctance to adopt a number of chants used by ma...

Re: TSI - The Promises, Policies & Progress Thread

Nameless But we have no idea whether there is a deadline, and whether it has been changed.

Where have you been? Charles Watts spoke to SJM recently and he confirmed the date was for the end of September but could also move and both parties were happy with the arrangement.
