Oh wait, I forgot. I don't befriend peasants.

I'm surprised you can be so choosy.

Easily done - if nobody reaches one's standards for friendship than that is an explanation/justification for why one has no friends.

Re: BFTG - Hull

I'm going to stick up for Gunter a bit. There were numerous times when he got the ball and looked to go forward and make a forward pass only to realise that the 3 "floating" attacking players were all in central and left positions meaning he either had to take the ball forward himself and...

Re: BFTG Hull

Definitely got out of jail today. One paced, ponderous, uninspiring and to be honest, dull. I was as unimpressed with the performance as I was with Stam's words after the game. I am no fan of booing, but he surely has to understand the fans want to see exciting football and that taking off top goal...

Re: Shocking and disgusting behaviour

It's a bit like being punished by your school for something you did down the park after school hours. Should really be a police matter only - could still have happened on a non-matchday. Except, if you were wearing school uniform, it wouldn't just be a police matter, it would be a school matter als...

Re: BFTG Swansea

Bacuna is a growing influence everytime I see him play. Club should slash ticket prices to a fiver for cup games. Devoid of an atmosphere games such as this will be flat. There's nothing really between £5 and £10. I mean - I know it's double, but it's only an extra fiver. People didn't come because...

Re: BFTG Swansea

Gunny Fishcake So boring , did we have a shot on target ? I think if we were still playing this next day we'd have not scored. Stam's negative boring tactics is seeing his halo starting to lose it's shine.

9 shots to Swansea's 10

4 on target each

Re: BFTG Swansea

I watched the game on an internet stream (I know  ) -Bacuna is quality and fits into our style of play really well. Doesn't panic on the ball and breaks play up well. Needs to start - Ilori, so composed on the ball. If teams are going to put us under pressure we need someone like him at the b...

Re: Under 23"s Supposedly not ready for first team football.

It seems ludicrous to me that a Premier League club would shut down it's academy, they can easily afford it. Hopefully the FA look into the reasons why they would shut down their academy because if they want England to a force at the International stage, they can't have a scenario where a top divis...

Nameless I also am getting to really like Bacuna. Does what Williams did except better, quicker and more positively.

+1. My new favourite player (sorry Liam, you've been dumped)

Re: BFTG Swansea

Well that was a depressing evening. Not so much the performance or even the result but how far we are behind Swansea as a club. Since the play off final they have gone from strength to strength winning a major trophy along the way and becoming an established Premier league club. Whilst we look a mi...

Re: Team for Swansea.

obita/Richards injured; Blackett rested; Gunter LB by default Fair. But leads me to the conclusion that Gunter is generally on the teamsheet by default, and the position he plays in will depend on who else is picked. The only game I remember him not playing last season was a cup game he was suspend...

3points
muirinho
3points Because he had a good game at right back against Millwall??

Ah ok, I wasn't at that game, but knew Gunter had been captain. So, where did he play then, if Rinomhota was RB? RCB? RWB?

Left back / LWB

now I'm very confused

Re: Swansea Predictions

Lower West 0-0

2-0 Edwards, Swift

2-2 AET

1-4

so, that's - 0-0 at half time, 2-0 at full-time, extra time anyway, as per "NothingClubsNotAllowedBeatBigClubsRule", then 2-2 AET, and 1-4 on penos, with them being allowed 5 penalty-takers, and us 1.

Have I got that right?

Re: Team for Swansea.

Think Popa is injured. I expect Kelly to be rested and also a start for Bacuna. Maybe see Rinamohta get a game ahead of Gunter again? Otherwise, reckon that's quite close. Gives McCleary and Obita some much needed game time and perhaps Beerens as well. Why would Rinomhota (note spelling!) get a gam...

Re: Shocking and disgusting behaviour

I mean blue smoke and chanting football fans is a pretty good give away it wasn't anything particularly sinister. Definitely obnoxious and probably very irritating if you were a normal passenger on the train but football fans in general are that. Don't really get why everyone is getting upset over ...

Re: Under 23"s Supposedly not ready for first team football.

Kuhl looked competent in his first team runouts but didn't look any better than Jake Taylor or Ryan Edwards. Tanner spent 2 years on the bench at Plymouth and Fosu struggled to get games in League 2. Quite a lot of players "don't look out of place" when they get a runout with the first te...

Re: Rival Watch

Yeah I liked the bit where he said a few weeks ago that he needed an entirely new team. A great manager. He's a fraud that spends other people's money and pockets a load of it. (Allegedly) What a cnut. Some exceptional posting here, both. Well done Sorry John if my robust opinion upset you. Clearly...
