Re: Coppell aims for new signings

1871royals Birmingham have signed Bouazza on loan.

Disappointing we missed out on him. Would have given Hunty some competition

Birmingham have now signed 5 players in this window.

Re: Who's close to sacking tonights game off?

I've just walked from The Butts to Boots down Broadstreet and back again and I'm frozen. Seriously cant be bothered to go tonight now as it will only get colder. Why feel let down and dissapointed when I can feel like that at home or in the pub? Who else is boycotting? The very example of a fair we...

Re: RUMOUR - Lita staying at Norwich

On 'The championship' this morning I thought the commentator said that a fee of £300k would secure a move to Norwich which would be a bargain.

Re: player marks from the telly

The original ball should have gone out to Henry on the wing. Why turn inside where it was congested when Henry might have had a run and cross? And if he had lost the ball it wouldn't have been in a dangerous position. I think this was Hunt. Memo to Coppellfor the next team team tactics talk: PLAY T...

Seriously, who cares? Trying to take the media away from a woeful home performance with controversial comments. LOL 'greed. B'ham seriously would never get promoted based on that performance today! ALOL at McLeish... Last week after they lost at Preston; 'We've got to concentrate on the Reading mat...

Re: Rosenior: The one trick pony

[quote="Sun Tzu"]It's just the traditional HNA inability to think in anything other than extremes. We're either world beaters or relegation fodder, players are either the greatest thing ever or donkeys. I heard this demonstrated by a couple of guys who had bought tickets to the game (as op...

Re: How the opposition fans view us.....

I personally think marek doesnt fit into our team unless its part of a 5 man midfield, playing him next to a harper or a cisse might not be accommodating enough. He looked good against bristol as a sub in the first team and starting in the reserves, but i wouldnt change the midfield at the moment, ...

Re: Most teams are frightened of us

I think we are to a certain extent seen as a bit of a Chelsea/Man Utd of the Championship. The Bristol City comments were on the line of 'Reading are Premiership in all but name'. Therefore some teams are not expecting much anyway a bit like our approach with the so called big 4 last two seasons.

Re: Derby - Back from the game.

Well done to the home support today. if i was kevin doyle i'd be a bit bemused. i mean i hardly heard a kevin doyle song all game, even after he scored. our fans seemed more interested in singing kalifa cisse, than thanking doyle for signing on. ... I'm pretty mutton but I heard quite a few super K...

Re: Back from the game

Thought this was the most one sided game for some time. My player ratings or observations USA- little to do but when called upon made a great one on one save at 1-0 and another great save to his right. Rosenior - did well first half linking with Kebe and he seems to be able to get some good crosses ...

Re: Kits is sad.......poor bastard!

You don't read of many players still talking more about their old club more than their new club months after moving. Kits has a genuine affection for RFC, even said he'd love to come back one day. He knew it was the end of an era and time to move on, and I don't blame him for that. I really don't u...

Re: Hunt dissapointed

What I fail to see is what he hopes to gain by making this statement? We are talking of the fans player of the season here wanting out. He cannot move until January so what has he to gain? He can however lose a lot of goodwill that he has built up with the fans. I have been impressed with his energy...

Re: Relief as the window closes and the clouds clear

Just proved to me what a farce this transfer window is and that nobody really wants it except Agents and the Arabs and Foreign investors who see the Premiership as their latest toy. I did think that the club had got it wrong with its transfer and wages policy, and that Mr Mad was being tight, but t...

Oh dear oh dear oh dear - it now seems that MT has not had a medical with us, but is still holding out for Coppell to make the move. HOWEVER because he has been told he's not wanted by Redknapp he's considering the only alternative club who have made a concrete offer for him and that is Bolton. Onc...
