Re: Ball 32 this Sunday

Jim Beglin with the understatement of the century on ITV, " I don't think Reading are quite as good as they were" Really Jim What gave you that idea? Still a Brilliant draw and a decent result could give our young players the boost that they need. Never mind the grouches sniping about Prem...

Re: Ex-Reading Strikers on form

Couldn't get to the Derby game today and had to rely on SSN for updates. Along with the depressing news from Pride Park, all I kept seeing was ex-Reading strikers doing well: Darius Henderson 3 for Sheffield United Simon Cox 2 for West Brom Dave Kitson 2 for Boro even Nicky Forster 1 for Brighton A...

Re: Rodgers Out

Rodgers in! Madejski out! It doesn't matter who the manager is, given the pathetic level of financial backing (following on from the savage cloth cutting)by the chairman, they would be doomed to failure. Dear Mr Bank Manager, You know that loan you gave me? Well I'm not going to pay it back. Yours,...

Re: DERBY (A) MATCH THREAD SPONSERED BY SHEEP SHAGGERS

One last post. People slagging off Long. Yes he was stupid to do what he did. Doesn't mean we should all turn on him. We actually had more chances after he was sent off so I don't think it actually effected the result. HTH. I'm afraid it's not as simple as that. He hasn't progressed since he came h...

Re: DERBY (A) MATCH THREAD SPONSERED BY SHEEP SHAGGERS

winchester_royal We've missed a hat-full of chances in the last 5 minutes.

Story of the season. We waste too many chances because we haven't got a player who's clinical enough to put them away.

Re: DERBY (A) MATCH THREAD SPONSERED BY SHEEP SHAGGERS

Archie's penalty 107 keeps calling Mceverley Cleverley.

Rasiak on for Sig.

And the Derby tannoy man calls Sigurdsson Sigardsson. After apparently mispronouncing the whole Reading team before the match.

Re: DERBY (A) MATCH THREAD SPONSERED BY SHEEP SHAGGERS

Dull game really. Hopefully we can come out for the second half and show the quality needed to win.

P.S. I think Tim Dellor may be in love with Robbie Savage.

Royalee Like you lot are with Rodgers and Pearce and so forth? Do me a favour

Coppell's gone you got what you wanted so stop going on about it. You mention Coppell more than others do. Rodgers has made mistakes even you admit that and you've got that hinky Annie Wilkes obsession with the guy.

Re: 'BACK THE BOYS AND MAKE SOME NOISE'

I guess I'm not a real fan. Have you only just realised? The rest of us have known that for ages. LOL, as opposed to you idiots slamming Rodgers and failing to back the new management? The tossers among us who backed Coppell 18 months ago cost this club a lot of time and money and need to look at t...

Re: Ingimarsson rejects a new contract offer from Reading

Must of been a different Darren O'Dea captaining Celtic during Pre-Season then. I know Mills had a couple of weeks off during the summer but not to the extent that Ingimarsson did.

Re: Ingimarsson rejects a new contract offer from Reading

Ingi is catching up to the other defenders because he didn't have a pre-season.IMO he's still the best we have on our books, he just needs games.

Best - Doyle, Hahnemann, Forster , Shorey, Kitson Worst - Halls, Cummings, Fae, Mate, Obinna list your favourite 5 and worst 5 signings from Jan 1st 2000 up until now. Basically excludes anyone signed by Tommy Burns. Apart from anything else Forster was signed in '99. Seem to remember a rumour at t...

Re: Shorey for

Forest on loan, apparently. I know, nothing to do with the team. But Kebe and McAnuff might have some fun when we play them again. Why? Kebe's best chance would be Shorey straining a stomach muscle while laughing at him trip over the ball. Tbf Kebe is more likely to trip over Shorey's big head than...

Re: Reading Fans

Last season in the play-off semi at Turf Moor the Burnley fans were the quietest I've ever heard until they scored and suddenly they woke up.This season they are being praised for helping to make the place a fortress with the atmosphere being created. Stoke have also been lavished with praise for th...
