Re: New manager rumours and speculation

Why? He's done well. He's gone to quite a few clubs that were having problems and got them out of those problems. The last team were doing REALLY BADLY, and he almost saved them, they must have been so far adrift when he took over. Suggests he can get them playing better. If he had no connection to...

Re: New manager rumours and speculation

If Kerr wasn't a former player remembered fondly, he'd be the sort of appointment that would have people spontaneously combusting in outrage, especially if Kia Joorabchian's name was associated. I find it utterly baffling anyone would suggest him. Why? He's done well. He's gone to quite a few clubs...

Re: New manager rumours and speculation

I get how he might have charmed his way through an interview, but what I don't get is why he would have been interviewed in the first place. There's nothing in his record which suggested he'd be a good fit or a success. Someone must have sold the board an absolute dream. Surely that was a Kia recom...

Re: CONFIMRED - Relegation

I would quite like Dai to put out a statement saying "I, along with my legal team, can categorically say we have not considered folding the club and selling off the land for a property deal" ...just for the LOLs I'd like him to come out and say either that he's appointed Ted Lasso as mana...

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

I had no idea he owned 2 other clubs that have basically ended up in administration/gone broke. But it sounds like the Chinese generally have pissed so much money up the wall on their super league they haven't got a clue about sustainability. For China, often the mentality is, do something now, bec...

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

Dai Yongge or Dayong Pang if you read this (although you won't as your english is poor). Address the fans now. Tell us your plans now we're relegated. Before you come very hated. You should read the books by Peter Hessler to get an idea of the Chinese businessman's mentality. There's one book, (201...

Re: Division one things to forward to……..

As with most things in life these days people just have to put a positive spin on things and a good example has been in this thread. The way I see it is if you want to go to little grounds for the experience then follow a non-league club. I'm with Jacksons Corner here in that I don't want to watch ...

Re: BFTG Wigan

We relegated two teams with that Yak goal. Why not make it a hat-trick on Coronation Monday? As a club of unique records, has one club ever been (semi) directly responsible for relegating all 3 clubs below them? With that result we relegated ourselves and Wigan.... If you can't beat Wigan, Huddlesf...

Re: Will we go down, yes or no?

I'm going to say yes, we will stay up or go down. I think the Wigan game is everything for an observer because we really don't know hoe good Hunt is at managing, we've seen three games, against a weakened Burnley team, against Luton and we lost to Coventry, now we're playing rubbish teams. Has he br...

Re: George Puscas leaving?

tidus_mi2 Bowen has confirmed tonight that Genoa are obligated to buy Puscas if they get promoted, which currently looks very likely.

Four games to go, 6 points ahead of 3rd place. Next game against 4th place, 11th place, 1st place and 3rd place, what a run in.

Re: Relegation

I do wonder what changed. On the field, we didn't change that much under Ince. May have hindered more than it helped at times, but we were always "doing enough" to stay up either way. Even away from the field, the mentality was always about survival. Again, probably hindered more than it ...

Yeah so May as well just embrace div1 as agree we may be there for whole. It isn’t the end of the world Relegation not the end of the world but we aren't an important club so whatever happens the media won't care We just need some Hollywood actors to buy the club ……. The reasons why they bought Wre...
